Raise the minimum amount of FREE TRX for testNet

I think it would be great for the community that you guys raise the TRX limit for testNet from 5000TRX to 50.000TRX.

it’s been weeks now I have been accumulating TRX on the telegram channel everytime, 5000TRX at a time, I now have staked for more than 1 Million Energy, and it is still not enough to deploy my contract on test Net, Now I don;t have enough Bandwidth…

This is super annoying, it is like having an intentional break on my development speed.

This is the main reason I switched to CORE, because I can deploy a contract only after a day or two of accruing test token with their faucet. PLus I can have as many sub account, and they will fund each one of them every day, so if I need let’s say the equivalent of 50 testCORE in a day, I can create 50 wallets, enter them one by one in their faucet UI, and I get 50 testCORE, and I can launch my end to end testing with those test CORE without ending up with an empty wallet, or having to wait 24H to launch another test.

With TRON, I have been waiting 2 months accruing test token just to be able to deploy a contract… Which I haven’t been able to do yet.

Energy & Bandwidth rentals don’t seem to work with Test Net, only on Main Net

This is a major setback for developers like me.

So now I am waiting on Telegram few more hours to get an extra 5000TRX to stake to get an extra 300 or so bandwidth, to see if I can deploy on test Net, and the answer will be "no Again, wait another 24H.

With other L2… I don’t have this issue

Can you believe it’s been two months I have been trying to deploy on Test net and I cannot because I am limited by the availability of value-less test token ?

I posted this on the telegram Channel:

Raising the issue, then the telegram bot told me I was a spammer, and blocked me for applying to Shasta Token.

On top of that, it appears the BOT says that I contact people, which is not true, I never contacted anyone on this channel. The truth is the only reason why I have telegram running is to get that TOKEN for developing a public good . I don’t even get paid for it…
So adding insult to the injury, I am now a spammer that contacts other users, who report me because I am asking a sensible question.

Every day, when I think about it, I open my telegram, type !shasta My Address, stake it, try to deploy my contract, see the error message is “Not enough Bandwidth/Energy”, and I try again next day, it’s been weeks now, it is still not enough…

Don;t I have the right to raise the issue?

If it happens to me, it happens to everyone, right?

I complain about it - I believe my tone is not insulting or annoying. (Correct me if I am wrong)

And now i am banned, so I have to wait ANOTHER week before I get 5000 TRX on Shasta…

This is maybe the most frustrating thing ever - spending countless hours trying to deploy a contract on a TEST Net without no success. Every day , 15 minutes I try , this accrues over weeks and months… And still zero deployment.

Meanwhile, with 1 tCore (CORE TestNet), I can deploy my contract 20 times in the same day, so which allows me to do 20 iterations of improvements and optimization every day… On TRON, It’s been 2 months, and I am still waiting to get enough Energy/Bandwidth staked to deploy a contract.

Not only testCORE allows me to iterate fast, but the actual CORE token cost about the same price as TRX. One REAL CORE token also allows me to deploy 20 times in a day - it means it is not a boost that they have setup in their test environment.

5000 TRX /day maybe was enough at the time that limit was setup.

Banning volunteers from applying to deliver quality on your network is definitely not a community friendly move in my opinion.

Please let me know if I am over-reacting.

Hi @lawpond The Bots do kick into overdrive if they have had a lot of spam in other channels, then penalise actions on other channels for things completely unrelated. If anything, make sure to post in the main Telegram channel, and we will unblock

It may be better to ask directly if he can get you the test tokens needed, hopefully that helps
