Currently it’s under freemium plan

We are planning to observe the deployment cost and then calculate the price per upload.
But be assured it’s going to be around: 0.05 TRX to 0.5 TRX depending on the file size.
This is just a assumption further details will be posted on the platform to get a subscription plan.

to get unlimited storage, you can rent your files on renthub and pay only that much btt. for now we have 30k credits distributed to new users who register and the users can use these credits to store or rent the files.

We realized a lot of you have been scratching your heads about the difference between Dev Mode and Rental Mode. :thinking: So, here’s the ultimate breakdown to clear the air! Let’s dive into the details to help you choose the best mode for your needs.

Rental Mode :house::briefcase:

This is where the serious business happens. Think of it like leasing an apartment—except for your files! You upload your data, set how long you want it to be there, and boom, your files are publicly accessible via the BTFS gateway for that period.

Key Features:

  • :hourglass_flowing_sand: Set Duration: Want your files hanging around for 30 days? Done! You control the duration.
  • :closed_lock_with_key: Permanent-ish Availability: Your files are pinned and securely hosted until your “lease” ends.
  • :moneybag: Cost Involved: Like a good landlord, RentHub charges credits based on file size and how long you need it.

So yeah, think of Rental Mode as the VIP section—your files are there for the long haul, securely and publicly accessible, but you’ll need to part with some credits! :bank:

Dev Mode :test_tube::gear:

Now, if Rental Mode is a long-term lease, Dev Mode is like couch-surfing. It’s meant for developers who just want to test things out without committing. Files here are temporary and will get deleted when the garbage collector comes knocking (think of it as RentHub’s very own “Marie Kondo” hehe).

  • :wastebasket: Temporary Files: They’re here for a good time, not a long time! Files get cleared after a while.
