Starting a node

Now I am no expert BUT i feel as if Mr Sun biffed a HUGE opportunity with Tron.
The hardest part of getting the node running is downloading that massive backup file of all the blocks ~3 days behind. Nearly 1(tb)

HELLO, you own BITTORENT why not make the file a torrent so we can download it faster than from a single server. Perhaps even store it on BTT network but c’mon seems like a HUGE oversight. takes days to dload.

As far as I remember, it was planned to synchronize servers via Bittorrent.

Thanks for your suggestion.

To speed up the download, Tron network has provided the backup file in different regions. I would suggest you choose the closest backup region to speed up the download.

Please refer to this guide for detail:

That’s actually a great idea! IDK will it work, but it sounds legit!
Btw, if you need to access Tron nodes just for development or DeFi purposes, it’s better to use node providers like GetBlock. This way you’ll definitely save lot of time and money!
