Project Overview

Axal Yield finds the best lending protocols and liquidity pools based on customizable risk parameters, diversifies assets across them, and monitors strategy health to automatically re-route assets if pool health changes. The Axal won HackaTRON at Harvard in 2023, comes from Harvard, SIG, Fidelity, and more, and is backed by a16z.

Project Goal:
Axal Yield will integrate TRON-based stablecoin opportunities, specifically USDT and USDD lending on JustLend DAO, into its Yield product. This enables Axal users to access competitive TRON yields while diversifying risk across multiple protocols, stablecoins, and blockchains.

Unique Value Proposition:
Axal automatically routes user capital to the best risk-adjusted yields across DeFi. By adding support for TRON’s stablecoin ecosystem, Axal brings real volume to TRON while offering users better diversification and protection through automated rebalancing. With $2.5M in funding, 5K+ testers, traction across top-tier chains, and $2.5M in commits, Axal is poised to onboard significant capital into TRON.
Project Demo:

Expected Completion Date for 2025:
August 30, 2025
Current Progress (%):
65% — Core agent architecture live. TRON integration scoped. Engineering can start on/around June 1st, 2025.

Technical & Governance Details

Project Test Instructions:

  1. Visit http://ax.al/yield
  2. Create an account
  3. Fund wallet
  4. Select between “Balanced” or “Conservative” strategy
  5. Monitor real-time strategy performance and rebalancing via dashboard
  6. Upon TRON integration launch, strategy performance will automatically include JustLend options TRON-backed stablecoin options (USDT, USDD)

Technical Details:

Architecture: Axal uses Privy Smart wallets and sessions keys for autonomous yield management. Axal zaps in and out of yield positions based on a deterministic algorithm.
Core Stack: TypeScript, Python, Go
TRON Integration: TRC-20 support, JustLend DAO integration, real-time rate and data feeds
Audits: Two completed audits and penetration testing.
Monitoring: Off-chain compute nodes monitor pool health, re-route in real-time.

Smart Contract Links:
To be deployed to TRON testnet by July 2025
How is the Project Governed?:
Strategic decisions on protocols, chains, and assets to integrate, as well as algorithm improvements are centralized to retain high yields.

Funding & Business Model

  • Funding Request:
    $90,000
    • $75,000 — Engineering labor (contract integration, rate fetching, testing, security)
    • $10,000 — Security audit for TRON-specific logic
    • $5,000 — Operational, infra, and monitoring costs
      Revenue Model:
Axal takes a small performance fee on yield generated only. That fee has not yet been implemented.
Interested in TRON Having a Stake?:
Yes — TRON DAO can directly benefit from user volume and we welcome stakeholding in either product, governance, or cross-marketing collaboration.
      Preferred Collaboration Method:
Direct collaboration on co-marketing, TRON developer support for JustLend integration, and yield strategy validation.

Ecosystem Impact

Partnerships:
Coinbase CDP, Arbitrum, Aerodrome, CoW Swap, EigenLayer, Agora, Privy, Virtuals
Time on TRON:
Integration scoped Q2 2025, development can be initiated June 2025

Project Milestones

  • May 2025: Begin TRON and JustLend DAO integration
  • June 2025: Deploy testnet version with USDT & USDD on Justlend.
  • July 2025: Security review and community beta
  • August 2025: Mainnet deployment and cross-marketing with TRON DAO

Project in 5 Years:
Axal becomes the best place for users to generate yield on stablecoins and idle assets through diversification and risk monitoring. All major stablecoins across major chains are integrated. TRON is a key liquidity pillar in that future, with Axal routing billions in assets autonomously through it.

Gm team Axal YIELD, WELCOMR to the tron ecosyetem and ongoing TBL

You got great team ready to build good on tron.

just a quick one, your website can currently be accessible with vpn.

Hey hello and welcome to TBL!

If I got correctly your service is to rebalance portfolios based on pools liquidity, right?

Also would like to know how the project generates revenue. Thanks!

Welcome to the tbl I will take my time and study you’re project then return with some questions if I have some questions, thank you

Welcome to TBL, I just got done reading your submission, my first go-to is always the funding request, which I’ll get to eventually but something else caught me off guard this time. You mentioned a future fee on profits. I’m wondering, when will that start, and how much will it be?

That’s right! It aggregates yield options, deploys capital across multiple depending on your risk profile, monitors pool health and APY, then rebalances if any of those dip too low.

For the second question and @manfred_jr this addresses yours too, the plan is to take a performance fee only. Likely ~20% of profits July-August timeline for implementing but no set date yet.

Hi, thanks for your answer.

It sounds interesting but quite complex.

Do you have any idea a about min capital per user to be allocated per pool?

And also what about capital distribution? I mean, would it be split in 5, 10 or so parts for risk management?

Even though you said likely 20% of profits here meaning a high probability from my understanding I will like to be sure on how you calculated to come up to that percentage, does it include unrealized gains, or solely on net returns after a full withdrawal?

Roughly 5 per risk strategy right now. Low = across Aave and Morpho; Medium = across Felix Protocol, Meteora, and Kamino; high is still in backtesting. The bar for minimum capital is quite low right now at $35 but user might lose $1-2 in bridging fees if they’re putting that little.

That’s only on realized gains like a performance fee. Similar to a 2/20 model (except without the 2% flat fee).

It’s in line with a lot of yield products like Yearn for example which has the same thing and Axal is much more powerful and high earning under the hood.
