Agba developer, good job ![]()
Amazing project keep up with the great work
@Nana66419 Thank you for the feedback.
-
On the issue of Klever logo, I have reached out to the design team and they are looking into it as at now. So something will be done about that
-
For now our targeted audience are people from Africa, In Nigeria, the ban is going to be removed soon as the government are planning on adopting cashless policy.
-
I can assure you the marketing team would do their work on that part of convincing merchant to accept payment of utilities through crypto as there are a lot of benefits for them too.
-
To ensure the safety of users and merchant, we integrated Worldcoin ID to make sure that all users or merchant gets to register an account once on the platform.
Wonderful, thanks for the clarification and wishing you all the best. This if made possible will make life quite easier. Thank you
You are welcome.
It’s a pleasure ![]()
It’s not only the logo, as @fabsltsa already discovered you are trying to use Klever without any right to do so.
How do you explain the ticker name KLV of your token? @admin.hackathon check this out
I am still trying to figure out the correlation between Klever and Kryptpay but till now I haven’t come to any decisive conclusion.
Why not make it $KPT??? Or $KRYPT, i think that will help but KLV being a ticker to Kryptpay has a negative correlation.
There is no correlation. Klever team doesn’t know them. I’m waiting for the “it was an homage” thing ^^
This homage thing reminds of what PalmT did to Turuglobal. Hahaha
what is the homage here?
@Horlarmmy We have decided that this project violated our HackaTRON rules - “Be the original work of the submitter, be solely owned by the submitter, and not violate the IP rights of any other person or entity“
The logo was a straight copy of the Klever Wallet logo and the ticker “KLV” is regarded as an attempt to fool the community that this project was part of the Klever project as it was using the same exact “KLV” ticker although this project was named “KryptPay”.
This project will be removed from the Hackathon S3 community vote. Further action will be taken by the Devpost team after verification on their end too.
Thank you to all community members @Nana66419 @Sirluke @fabsltsa that raised this issue and those that flagged this project to us directly!
Thank you for the quick response and action. I was really driven to the project because of the Klever Logo, i have been following Klever for years now.
I hope they learn their lessons and do the due diligence next time. “Authenticity and Originality” is the first requirement of this HackaTRON.
Any project that behaves otherwise will be flagged for the necessary actions to be taken. Thank you
@admin.hackathon This is just a misunderstanding from community members.
We do not intend to fool the community, I already made it clear that this project does not have any relation to the Klever project.
The project do not intend to make a copyright of the Klever app.
Although, the logos and ticker were the same, but this was unnoticed as it is a mistake from the design team. If you could check the smart contract for this project you would see that the actual ticker for this project is “KPT”.
This is something we do not know of until it was addressed as an issue in the community.
I appologise for our incompetence in looking out for this mistakes.
I have reached out to the team and we are making every neccesary steps to make sure this is corrected.
I would appreciate if would reconsider us as this is an unintended mistake.
I can assure you it’s a coincidence and misunderstanding.
The team are working on it as we speak.
Hahahaha I think I have seen this before
So I question them too.
It was quite strange. I saw the Logo and i said great, we have Klever on board only to realize its just a “Coincidence”
Hahahaha this is bad
With something like this, everyone will present a project
Hahahah i hope they learn their lessons next time. Once u break the rules, no amount of pleading can help you out.
Sure sure
Prepare for s4 and present your own original idea.
Better luck to them next time ![]()
