If you fill out all your details you can get a badge but you don’t have to.
If you need to vote, you have to have trust level 1 and there is a forum topic already explaining how to do that.

Is there any specific amount of read time, topic viewed, or replies we have to do to get lv 1?

Read in chitchat, hackathon, general discussion topics around 30 - 1hr minutes and I mean actually read, don’t try to cheat the system. Like and like comments and comment on each post you read.
Should get level 1 by then.
