NFCarb - open & trustless carbon credits those are verifiable on blockchain

Thank you for the query. The demo at Devpost has been mistakenly entered with Croin’s link. We will soon give a relevant link. Meanwhile you can login https://nfcarb5.vercel.app, if interested. Else, I will update you about the new demo link.

Hi! Croin facilitates easy & trustless verification of the minted credits. This makes them reliable in open market. Additional monetization of already pursued green activities is good incentive for the people. We need to arrange an effective outreach to public for this.

How does verification make minted credits more trustworthy in the market?

Verification implies that the physical existence & efficacy of the thing (plantation/green tech etc.) are audited by anonymous people having expertise on assessment of carbon credits, and the amount of CO2 claimed is found reasonable.

Your approach to ensuring user-friendliness and efficiency through the dApp is quite commendable, how will you ensure the integrity of the data entered into the form by users who verify carbon credits outside of the dApp?

If the CCs are verified through our dApp, our logic directly facilitates updationof the verification status. If an user does verification outside our dApp, then the credit ID of the verification on Croin can be shared to us. We can then check the terms of the credit and subsequent decision. Additionally, the user can submit evidences to convince us that the verification for the actual thing is done. This is cumbersome way, yet we shall update the verification status on blockchain.

While this adds more user control, it’s important to consider the balance between flexibility and efficiency, can you automate parts of the verification checking process? For example, once the user submits a verification ID from Croin, can your system directly cross-check their data with Croin’s database instead of relying on manual reviews?

Awesome project idea! How do you plan to address the challenges users face in your area, and what unique solutions does your project offer?

Yes, we can do that.

Feels about right, I’d hold my horses at this point and be watching this from a distance. Goodluck on everything!

You’ve qualified good job.
Your project seems so promising with consideration of the current state of cc.
I dont grasp how you’re really advancing them from the lack of some details but your responses are somewhat informative. Curious to see how things go after judging

ps: interesting to see a timeline for project milestones, pretty unique.

Hi @Biraris nice website and it works as intended.

The website is pretty similar with the other project Croin – Token with intrinsic credit generation, and potential DAO for Boolean output Of course is your decision but I would rather recommend to come with one and make it awesome.

Now, over the croin and the NFCard, the connections and interaction with Tronlink work as intended, but maybe adding more details would improve the UI and provide a simpler, nicer presentation!

But otherwise good work !

Thank you very much for checking both the project, and the valued feedback.

We are indeed needed to modify the NFCarb site, and we shall do it soon. Now we are working on Croin whitepaper and its actual deployment (on mainnet). UI of both the sites will be improved, and the similarities will be avoided.

We have added the detailed concept paper. Please have a look.

Hey this project is about NfCarb right ? But in the demo video I see you presented your another project croin only? You didn’t even talk about this project in video? @admin.hackathon

Yes, we ended with a big mistake here :disappointed:. We shall refine and do it properly in next season.
