TRON Wallet Connectivity Options - WalletConnect, TronLink, Bitkeep, etc

Hello everyone,

I’m considering using WalletConnect for a project on the TRON blockchain and was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. I was wondering if WalletConnect actually supports TRON, as I couldn’t find much information about it in the official documentation here. If you have used WalletConnect with TRON before, I’d be interested to know if it works well and if you encountered any issues.

I’m also curious if anyone has developed a method for connecting to multiple TRON wallets using tronweb. It would be great if users had the option to choose between different wallet extensions like TronLink, WalletConnect, or Bitkeep. Providing support for multiple wallets in different ways could really improve the user experience.

Any insights or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

WalletConnect to my knowledge does not support TRON. :sob:

Yeah.
I tried to use Trust Wallet’s, WalletConnect, but it says that TRON is not supported. I’m wondering what the purpose of this documentation is: WalletConnect-TRON

Yes, I was able to test this as well. The dapp is located at https://react-dapp-v2-git-fork-myzykj-tron-walletconnect1.vercel.app/ and the wallet is located at https://react-wallet-v2-git-fork-myzykj-tron-walletconnect1.vercel.app.

But the real query is: Is there a wallet that actually supports walletconnect v2?
Are there any plans to include it in tronlink?

Sorry, I don’t have access to them.

I don’t either. I wanted to see if we could do something about it and maybe develop a wallet ourselves, but we had no luck with the TronDAO Foundation.

The latest version of BitKeep supports using WalletConnect to connect Tron Wallet.
