That is really great ! I always wondered why most TRON resource markets left out bandwidth market. What will be the minimum amount to sell bandwidth on your platform?
This was a reason for me as well in the early stages of energy markets. I only started trusting some after I saw some of them winning judges prizes in hackaTRONs.
I totally agree with you. Education is most important and needed especially about TRON. Most dapps out here already assume that users are aware of how TRON operates. I think most users do not even know how blockchains operates and just invest to get rick quick.
As a non tech person I am not aware of how unsafe these energy markets can be. I am glad that a TRONic with your dev experience have decided to take matter into your own hands to fix the problem.
I can clearly understand now how your energy market differs from others.
Looks like Tronpower is a project for the TRONics by a TRONic !

Yes I never knew Andre and his story even though I was in the space for so long, he created yearn finance to help Fantomās treasury as they spent most of it apparently.
And thanks , Iām happy to hear positive feedback on the UI , now Iāll be working on making it more responsive especially for the orders. I might have to restructure some stuff too.
Yeah well again , its safe enough but since its not 100% random , a replay attack could in theory happen , but they would need to first intercept the message and decrypt https plus execute it within the time of the security crendentialās expiry time ( assuming they do that , which is typical of a normal login system)

Nice one but canāt see renting option
Just tried a buy option it went smoothly but seems 1 minute confirmation is too long for meš
Renting option as in selling? Automated selling?
For now , you need to navigate to āAccount Settingsā and click āEnable Automated Sellingā.

Hmmm yeah the thing is the tron blockchain takes 1 min to confirm a transaction , so weāre just following that guideline to wait for block confirmation.
Do other markets give energy immediately or it still takes some time?

Interestingā¦ I guess that proves how much more secure Tronpower is.
When you transfer TRX to Binance, it takes 1 min to verify the transaction/deposit on chain. We are doing the same.
If you do not wait for confirmation , the dApp is susceptible to double-spend attacks which may drain its account, which means sellers cannot get paid , and buyers donāt get their energy.
Our other implementation to use a highly random , non time-based nonce which ensures signed messages are not vulnerable to replay attacks.
I guess Tronpower is now the safest energy market , protecting against:
- Double-spend attacks
- Replay attacks
P.S Did you use credit to pay or transfer TRX through buying? If buying through the credit system that some of the markets have ( which means you already pre-paid), then of course you dont need to wait for block confirmation.
Already designed a credit system for Tronpower, but havent implemented it. Will see if Iāll implement it before moving on to āProject Reactorā , then coming back to enhance the market .

I agree 100% with you. When providing very valuable goods as energy, waiting full blocks confirmation mitigates nearly to zero the risk of a scam or a attack that main drain the available energy.
I transfered directly to a wallet and got the energy basically very few seconds afterwards

Delete the old chat and try again. It wasnt working for me for a few weeks and now its working again , but need to start a new convo ( it creates a new chat). Just make sure its the right bot by going to the dev chat or energy channel in the official en group

Update on Beta (mainnet)
We are making progress to going live on mainnet.
Finished upgrade to support both testnet and mainnet sites
Added features to complete automation e.g batch payment
Adding cancel orders
Updated UI to be more responsive when creating orders.
Will be testing out features before updating the alpha site.

I see a few more energy platforms coming on , but I think we offer the best UI , security , documentation and features.
Itās only 3 months in , with 1 founder as a solo dev (then again, its unfair since I produce the work of 5 people) and the energy market isnāt even our hero product.
Looking to make it better, so let me know what is badly needed!
