Does each token have an expiration policy to prevent long-term or indefinite usage? If not, are there plans to introduce time-limited tokens or token refresh mechanisms to improve security?
It wouldnât make sense to have time-limited tokens because developers wouldnât want to change the tokens in their code in a frequency.
We count every message that is sent, every event that is listened, and use these statistics whether the user has exceeded the quota.
So, thereâs no such thing as indefinite usage. You can use your token any time, any where as long as you donât exceed your quota.
Thanks for the detailed response, Iâm pretty sure this will help a lot of devs, weâve been hearing people on dev channels asking for solutions like this!
Best of luck!
Thank you! We hope that TronSocket will help a lot of developers out there.
This will be a valuable tool for Tron devs
If a user exceeds their quota, are there grace periods or a soft suspension period that allows for critical transactions to still be processed before the token is fully deactivated?
After using 80% of your total quota, you receive a warning email from TronSocket. It tells you to be careful, and you quota is about to exceed.
Token is not deactivated after you exceed your quota, you just get an error while trying to listen the blockchain. After upgrading your plan or waiting for your quota reset, you can keep using same token.
Thanks for the clarity, keeping fingers crossed as to how this fares as Hackathon progresses, goodluck on everything!
@oynozan @beycan welcome to season 7,
I couldnât see any smart contract link connection. Provide your smart contract links on BTTC/TRON so that I can test your platform
Hello, thanks.
We donât use any smart contracts, why would we? To test our platform you donât need any smart contract, please read the introduction post carefully

Oh okay so basically you didnât understand the rules of project. The hackathon is for projects who works on TRON Blockchain, you can not just say e.g. âWe have developer website as wordpress for tron buildersâ. It doesnât count. You are violating those rules:
Your MVP is not for this hackathon
I still think you didnât read our post. Our project is running on TRON Blockchain, we run a full-node to listen the chain and serve developers a WebSocket support.
Not every project has to have a smart contract. This is the part you are misunderstanding. Why would we run a smart contract if we donât need one?
Hope you read carefully our project description to understand how we integrate TRON into our service
Smart contract are not necessary. Not all projects require a smart contracts.
I read it again. I am behind of my words. It is not the project which runs in TRON Blockchian in terms of anything.
Ok and I will like to know, as the only websocket provider on Tron blockchain, what challenges do you face in developing the websocket project?
And what key content will you focus on in educating developers about the benefits of using Tronsocket for their project?
Itâs a better development
Sorry then, you did not understand the project, Iâve tried my best to explain
If you can tell me how can we serve a WebSocket service without having a full-node TRON blockchain, I would understand what made you think we donât use the blockchain.
Currently, we donât face any issues. We had some problems while building an architecture for project but itâs all fine now. I think what we should focus is the future-problems that can occur. Because since TronSocket is the only WebSocket provider of Tron ecosystem, it is very crucial for us to have a high uptime percentage.
For education, we thought some tutorial videos that will included to our documentarion.
Ok, thank you for clarifying this
Even if this project does not have a smart contract or modify the blockchain it is filling a missing infrastructure need and has TRON integrated on it :). The rules are not against services using TRON or BTTC for infra purposes.
Thanks for your time on analyzing the project
Hope this helps on clarifying a bit
