Hey @Youngyuppie Thank you for those quick point outs.

  1. I am building a dapp and it would not just facilitate token transfers but there will be more functionalities in it. Like buying , selling NFTs , defi operations etc.
  2. No, Its not related to TronLink wallet . So I will change the name . TRX-Links sounds good ? @Youngyuppie

Hello Buddy, welcome to the session.
Hmm your project name just like @Youngyuppie stated.
May not be appropriate. Because we have the established Tron link wallets, that is doing everything on your project goals and values.

And then, what your unique method to make the Web2 users have this lower transaction cost in your project?

Hi @Gordian , Not exactly . My project is not a competition to TronLink wallet and is not related to it.

I will give you an example and in some hours will post a demo here.

For eg: You can utilise Tron Wallet on a web3 site/dapp but can you utilise it on twitter ? or telegram ? ofc not.

But our major users are on those sites. This project is an effort to onboard them to tron.

Oh nice, not related to Tron link wallet.
The concern here is the Name, maybe you can have another name for it.

Alright, will hold on for your demo video and rest of details added.

Fine, then provide social media handles to were most
Of your users are. All the best

Hey @Smart1 Thank you for your questions and taking a peep at my project.

I will try to give a brief answer to each of your questions :sparkles:

1. How does Tron Links simplify transactions for users unfamiliar with blockchain technology?

Tron Links simplifies transactions by providing an easy-to-use interface for generating transaction links that users can share on social platforms like Twitter, Telegram, or Discord as can be seen in the demo video. The complex transaction data is embedded within the generated link, and the recipient can execute the transaction using their preferred wallet (e.g., TronLink). This eliminates the need for users to manually input blockchain addresses or deal with the technical details, making blockchain transactions as simple as sharing a URL.

2. What specific features does Tron Links offer to enhance user accessibility on the Tron blockchain?

Tron Links enhances accessibility by:

  • Allowing users to generate customizable links for various blockchain actions like token transfers or DeFi interactions.
  • The links can be shared via common social media platforms, and when clicked, the transaction information is rendered through Tron Links’ customizable UI for execution by the recipient.
  • This enables non-technical users to initiate blockchain transactions by just interacting with a simple link, bypassing complex interfaces.

3. In what ways does the high transaction speed of Tron benefit users interacting through Tron Links?

The high transaction speed of the Tron blockchain ensures that once a Tron Link is executed, the transaction is processed quickly. This is especially beneficial in environments where users expect near-instantaneous results, such as real-time DeFi interactions or fast-paced token transfers. Since Tron supports up to 2,000 TPS, users can expect minimal delays when their transactions are executed via Tron Links.

4. How do low transaction costs on the Tron network impact user engagement with DeFi products via Tron Links?

The low transaction costs on Tron make it more accessible for users to engage with DeFi products without the burden of high fees. When users click on a Tron Link to execute a transaction, the network’s low fees (often fractions of a cent) encourage more frequent participation in lending, borrowing, or staking activities. This ease of access and low cost encourages more casual users to participate in DeFi, especially when compared to higher-cost alternatives like Ethereum.

5. Can you explain how Tron Links facilitates interactions with DeFi platforms like JustLend DAO?

Tron Links enables users to generate links for specific DeFi actions (e.g., lending or borrowing) on platforms like JustLend DAO. Once generated, the link can be shared with others via social media. The recipient can click on the link, which contains all the transaction data, and use a compatible wallet like TronLink to execute the action on the Tron blockchain. This method abstracts the complexities of interacting directly with smart contracts, making it easier for users to engage with DeFi protocols.

6. What advantages does Tron Links provide for users interested in lending, borrowing, or staking in the Tron ecosystem?

Tron Links provides several advantages for users interested in DeFi:

  • Simplified link generation for complex actions such as lending or staking.
  • Interoperability with DeFi platforms like JustLend, allowing users to participate without needing to directly interact with the protocol’s smart contracts.
  • Ease of sharing: Users can share a Tron Link on social media, making it easy for others to join DeFi activities by simply clicking the link and executing the pre-configured actions.

7. How does Tron Links ensure a seamless experience for web2 users transitioning to blockchain interactions?

Tron Links bridges the gap between Web2 and Web3 by allowing users to interact with blockchain technology through familiar platforms like Twitter, Telegram, or Discord. The use of customizable, shareable links removes the need for users to navigate complex blockchain interfaces or handle private keys. This seamless experience helps Web2 users transition to Web3 by simplifying their interaction with decentralized technologies.

8. What security measures are in place to protect users when using Tron Links for transactions and DeFi activities?

Tron Links employs several security measures:

  • TronLink wallet integration: Transactions are signed using the TronLink wallet, which ensures that private keys remain local and secure.
  • Pre-configured transactions: Since Tron Links are generated with specific transaction data, users are able to verify the details before executing the transaction.
  • Smart contract security: Any interactions with DeFi platforms, such as JustLend, use audited smart contracts, ensuring that the underlying protocols are secure.

These features ensure that users can safely engage in transactions or DeFi activities without unnecessary risk.

Hi, welcome to the season 7!

This is a very practical idea, it’s like a payment request with all the info about the transaction embedded just waiting to be executed.

Great idea @Chizz , Such feedbacks from the community would get us a long way ahead in our vision.

Yes, I am adding those features in our next features on the roadmap where our project would aim to provide several user-friendly features to minimize the chances of Web2 users making mistakes when sending assets, such as:

  1. Wallet Address Saving: We plan to offer the option to save frequently used wallet addresses. This will allow users to quickly select pre-verified addresses, reducing the risk of input errors or accidentally sending assets to the wrong address.

  2. QR Code Generation: We will integrate QR code generation for transactions, making it easy for users to scan and input wallet addresses without having to type long, error-prone alphanumeric strings. This method greatly minimizes human error, especially for Web2 users unfamiliar with handling blockchain addresses.

These features would be designed to help Web2 users have a smooth and secure experience when transitioning to blockchain, ensuring that even with minimal blockchain knowledge, users can confidently send and receive assets without the fear of mistakes.
