Thank you for sharing your design and project. A restaurant is fundamentally a trust-based system. This is an in-person transaction.
So I don’t see any relevance for blockchain anything in this context other than for payment processing. Therefore I don’t understand why anybody might use this.

While a restaurant system may primarily involve in-person transactions, blockchain technology offers significant value beyond just payment processing. It can improve transparency, food safety, operational efficiency, customer loyalty, and innovation within the restaurant industry. By leveraging blockchain technology, restaurants can differentiate themselves and gain a competitive edge in an increasingly digital and discerning market.
In addition, this brings transparency that protects both: the customer and the restaurant, such as:
Wrong orders: And if suddenly an order for a wrong dish appears on the table, who is wrong? The restaurant or the customer? Should the restaurant bear the costs of this or did the customer really make a mistake when ordering?
Spoiled food: What if a customer orders a dish that takes him to the hospital. How to know and how to prove that you recently ate a dish that supposedly made you sick? Even worse: What if it was an ingredient that affected multiple customers? We managed to have solid evidence of what actually happened on the blockchain in case of a class action lawsuit.
Tips: How can the customer know if the restaurant is actually passing the tips on to the waiter? On the blockchain this is clear and the tips are split when the bill is paid.
In addition to all the transparency, we still have, of course, all the comfort for the customer to be able to see the menu and place orders that arrive automatically and instantly (thanks to the BitTorrent-Chain) in the kitchen.
