USTX price is free to move. The bond price is fixed (but could be changed in the future to follow the market, similarly to a stop loss in a trading system)

Nice question. Well, Bond is what it is, a financial asset at fixed value that can be exchanged for USTX. It’s also 007!

the project is very hard for a newbie like me to understand 
Basically Bond kicks in if USTX price goes below 0.01$ (launch price). In that case any user can emit a bond at fixd price of 0.01$. In this way the user has the chance to sell USTX at a fixed price, regardless of the current market price. It’s a way to reduce/avoid any losses during bad market conditions.

BOND has been awarded with the 3rd prize from the HackaTron Judges in Builders category. This is a very welcome suprise for the whole team and our supporters. The innovation and quality of Bond has been acknowledged.
The final application will be live on mainnet before June 28th, as planned.

We are keeping our work in line with the roadmap: the contracts have been deployed to mainnet today. In the next few days the Bond dApp will be online and available to users.

We’ve streamlined the USTX ecosystem dApp menu and added Bond to it, removing Staking V1 (thelink to V1 is still available in the staking page).
