Dear TRON friends,
I would like to give you an update about our progress with the company and the product Carpe Diem Savings.
Bad news first
- We have currently halted the development of Carpe Diem Savings. Our previous developers overcharged us by a lot and didn’t finish the work. This lesson did cost us about $100k…
As told before, Carpe Diem Savings was never intended to be a profitable product. It was an idea by me to gift to the crypto community.
Good news
- During the bear market, a lot more talented developers became available. We are pleased to announce that we have found a very good development team that is going to proceed with the work. We’ve made agreements to make sure that our collaboration is as solid as rock.
- We’ve been working on another product since a while and initially waited for the development on that until Savings was finished. We decided to change things around, as this new product does have a profitable business model. These profits are well-needed to continue our operations.
- A sacrifice for a guaranteed pension has started last week. With Carpe Diem Pension, we plan to airdrop our $XCD tokens towards sacrificers.
- After the development on Pension, we’ll completely rewrite the front end for Savings. The new frontend will be efficient and will be way harder to hack.
- The expansion for Savings to TRON will be cheaper and easier than previously thought.
About Carpe Diem Pension
Carpe Diem Pension is a completely new DeFi product that shares similarities to a pension/retirement fund. It is a fully decentralized protocol that will run on PulseChain.
Many of the massive problems that classic pension funds are facing are solved with Carpe Diem Pension. In short, it is a pension fund that:
- pays out indefinitely through a decentralized and immutable smartcontract
- does not play around with your money. You manage your own pension through the smartcontract
- starts paying out from the moment you make your first deposit
- Allows you to literally build up your pension payout through accumulation of deposits. You increase the payout by depositing more and more each month.
- is transferable without restrictions (by sharing access to your wallet address)
- only allows deposits in the cryptocurrency XCD
- pays out in XCD and PLS
During the Sacrifice, you get points for participating. The number of points per dollar worth of cryptocurrencies is 2000 points for the first 15 days, then decreases by 100 points every five days.
