CodeHive - Crack the Code, Reap the Rewards! šŸ’°

Hello Tron team! @tron_support_bot @EMerchant

Iā€™m reaching out because my teammate, @elluminaZk, has been experiencing issues posting on the Tron forum for the past week. Every time he try to post something, he encounter this error message:

Tagging Tron experts for assistance: @Prince-Onscolo @Nweke-nature1.com @manfred_jr @fabsltsa. Appreciate any help you can provide!

Your teammate was not included in the hackathon group, you were the only one included. I think you requested it so your name was added and his wasnā€™t. And he is a new user too so he can only reply 3 messages under a topic and there should be a message from another person between his or her last 3 replies before he can.

The only thing now is for admins to add him to the HackaTRON group or stay active to get a member badge. I hen the new user era passes he will be able to do that. One immediate solution is he can tag numerous people in one comment and answer their questions

Thanks for the reply boss. @elluminaZK has been active and i think he meets all the basic requirements to get the basic badge, although he hasnā€™t received it yet.

When referencing the hackathon group, did you mean I should have included his username along with mine when requesting to create our project post from the admins?

Soon he will get it, everything is automated. When he reaches the requirement it will be surely be granted :pray:t3:

But thatā€™s not all! :tada: Weā€™re also gearing up to roll out our highly anticipated MVP (Minimum Viable Product) in the coming days. This is the moment weā€™ve all been waiting for, and let me tell you, itā€™s going to be a game-changer.

:boom: Stay tuned for more updates.
This is just the beginning, and weā€™re only getting started. :rocket: The future is bright, and weā€™re thrilled to have you all along for the ride.

Donā€™t you think this section will reduce the potential customer area to a very small extent for you? I donā€™t think even very successful coders would want to compete with each other. I think you should reconsider including mid-level software developers.

Itā€™s understandable that Code Hive prioritizes user privacy and is completely decentralized.

Have you considered other ways for consumers to receive updates or notifications, such as subscribing to RSS feeds or following certain social media accounts, if they choose to stay updated through channels other than Telegram or Discord?

Thank you for submitting your project on TRON!
Looking forward to check your MVP to test it!
I have some questions in the meantime:

  1. I assume your website will be able to submit new bounties for devs to apply?
  2. Are you creating vaults/fund functions for users to make their own request?
  3. After a solution is provided for a bounty, how are you validating the solution is correct and transfer the bounty out to the winner?

Please add dates in your milestones phases and sub activities so judges and admins have a better idea on progress, failing to do so might affect your final score as it is not clear what to evaluate.

Kudos for open sourcing your project! . This is a good idea! Best of luck. Keep building on TRON/BTTC

Thank you for your question! @Robert2

At Code Hive, we specifically target coders and coding enthusiasts because, much like the gaming industry targets gamers, our platform is designed for those who are passionate about coding. The developer community is vast and includes many who enjoy competing and solving challenges, especially when there are rewards involved.

Successful coders are always looking to hone their skills and take on new challenges, especially when rewards are involved. At Code Hive, we offer bounties that incentivize these developers to engage with our platform, providing them valuable opportunities for growth and contributing diverse solutions to our community.

Thank you for your thoughtful suggestion about RSS feeds! Until now, we hadnā€™t explored RSS feeds as an option for keeping our users informed. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

Moving forward, we see great potential in incorporating RSS feeds as they can provide a streamlined way for users to receive updates directly. One key benefit of integrating RSS feeds would be to notify users immediately when new problems are published on the app, ensuring that they have the opportunity to engage with fresh challenges as soon as they are available. This method would complement our current use of decentralized platforms and enhance user experience by offering another non-intrusive, user-controlled method to stay connected with the latest challenges and platform news.

Weā€™re excited to look into integrating RSS feeds and other similar tools to ensure our users can easily access updates in the way that suits them best.

Thank you again for your inputā€”itā€™s incredibly valuable to us :hugs:.

Thank you for your attention to our project and for the constructive feedback!

Firstly, Addressing Your Questions:

  1. Bounty Submissions: Yes, our platform currently allows users to post new problems as bounties. This feature is experimental and will be monitoring it very closely.
  2. Vaults/Fund Functions: My colleague @elluminaZK is better suited to address this question in detail.
  3. Solution Validation: We use Judge0 for executing submitted solutions. If the executed code meets the problemā€™s requirements and matches the expected output, the submitter is prompted to sign a contract. If their solution is the first valid one, the funds are automatically released to their wallet address from the smart contract. @elluminaZK can provide further details on this process.

Regarding the Project Track:

While I appreciate your suggestion to reconsider our project track, we believe our project qualifies for the ā€˜Integrationā€™ category because we are integrating TronQL to enhance data querying and retrieval directly from the blockchain.

We would greatly value input from the elders of the forum regarding our alignment with the integration track.
@EMerchant @manfred_jr @Prince-Onscolo @fabsltsa @Relate101 @Youngyuppie @WindsOfChange92

Milestone Dates:

We have updated our project documentation to include specific dates for all milestones and relevant sub-activities. For more detailed updates, we encourage reviewing our commit history on GitHub.

Thank you again @SimbadMarino from the bottom of our hearts for your thorough review and the valuable insights youā€™ve provided. We are excited to continue developing our project on the TRON and look forward to further interactions.

Thanks for your reply in so short a notice. Indeed, exploring the use of RSS feeds is a promising step toward increasing user engagement and offering a handy way for consumers to remain up to date on Code Hive activities.

Hello, Iā€™ll be answering the second question.

when you say request i presume you refer to the creation of new questions on the platform,
yes we do have a vault sort of a contract in place that lists new questions and hold their addresses, and state.
further more each question is a contract based one, which makes this system scalable to number of question being supported on the platform.
this could be performed in the New Question section where details like description, examples and testcase are been stored.

And if you were referring the term ā€œrequestā€ to submission of a solution, then yes again, those summations are stored on contract then be validated.

You might think on the possibilities of breaks in the security, But no there is implemented security that checks via a web_handler. a term we are using to refer the webpage that helps the user to multi-sign only when all the test cases are covered to submit a solution on chain.

please feel free to tag me to any technical queries regarding the architecture.

With integrating TronQL to enhance data querying and retrieval from the blockchain, I think your project suite the integration track unless @WindsOfChange92 thinks otherwise
