Huge Phishing Scam Alert
On the night of September 7, 2023, someone stole a big amount of digital money—$24.23 million in stETH and rETH. How did this happen? Well, a person accidentally gave permission for some bad transactions, which let the thief take the money.
Once the thief had access, they quickly took 4,850.9 rETH and 9,579.2 stETH, which added up to the stolen amount. Experts from Scam Sniffer found some clues about who might have done this:

They think the second clue is linked to other sneaky online tricks. Some of these tricks are fake online giveaways that try to get people to share their personal info.
Also, people recently found out about a new trick being used in the App Store. And, it seems like more and more bad guys are using Google Ads to try and trick people. So, always be careful…
