The funds comes from government organisation and other organisations that want to create a positive impact. For example the European Union has signed the Green Deal, where it will invest billions in euro’s to support green ecosystems. However it’s difficult to give everyone an equal voice and make choices together. That’s why EcoDAO can have an important impact. So the funds comes from organisations and EcoDAO provides the infrastructure to make it transparant and connect people together😊

We are working on a self sovereign identity integration, to make sure people can only vote as an unique person. In each ideas page there has comment section. Those person can dispute there and give their discussion. There they can vote. Only the most voted ideas will be selected

That’s wonderful, so if a project is voted for using the EcoDAO platform. How do you get the funds from the European Union as you just cited?
Do you apply for the funds for the team behind the voted for project??

Many organisations, like the European Union providing grants for the society. At the moment they working with a centralized system where people don’t get a voice and are not connected with each other. With EcoDAO they can provide the grants on the DAO, so people of the community get a voice. In the DAO it’s also possible to give different weights of the vote, for example representative of a city, community members and children (see video demo on 2:07). To create trust, people have to create a smart contract by uploading a quotation how they want to use the credits (video demo 3:20). In the next feature it will be possible to get an automatically invoice from local business with standard prices. This can have a huge impact on local business, so a win win situation.

Renewable energy projects cost enormous amounts of money. This project does not demonstrate any reason why projects should use it and pay a tax of 5%.
Thank you for the message fulldecent. EcoDAO is a DAO that helps governments and organisations to create a transparant way an and a voice how the investments of new energy has to be invest. The platform is a service. For example in the Netherlands, they did a pilot in Then Hague about this, because many people are angry that they are not involved in the process. A 5% fee is not strange. Most of the companies that helps with investment/grants are asking above 10%. I did a government accelerator in Then Hague and they like this platform, because the biggest problem for governments at the moment is trust and transparency. Hope things are more clear, otherwise let us know
