Thats great, will definitely try it out this evening, but to collect data about the currencies in Africa, you need like 10 sources, because the rates are different in all areas.

Yep, this is where our data is pulled from - https://api.exchangerate.host/sources
https://exchangerate.host/sources#/#faq
There’s already aggregation done at that source level and some of their sources aggregate as well.
We built the protocol so we can potentially add other sources in the future but this has to be thought out and well planned.
There’s services like Wink on Tron (based on ChainLink on EVMs) which has a “flux aggregator” but there’s only crypto prices there atm. goStables is but one price source for forex price data on Tron but others would need to add their own nodes to to make that work well with Wink. But if no one is using/building on what is already there, then who’s the other nodes that are going to cover the cost of TRX/energy/bandwidth for pushing all this data onchain?

Thats very great, i know you trust you source you are getting the data from, and i also trust that source, but in Africa, governments can decide to rise and fall their own currency anyhow largely based on the sentiments of the people.
If the citizens complain the dollar is rising against the cedi and that they will vote against the government in the next election, the government brings the dollar down.
They are just running a speculative market down here.

hmm… @fabsltsa would JM Spot Trading be open to consider integrating gStables on Nile to experiment with? I’d think there can be a good opportunity to experiment with this for supporting onchain forex trading pairs. You all could even be another source of forex price data besides just us… Lego building…

Thanks for the update and its always good to see these gstables expanding.
