IdleTron – Train Risk-Free, Trade On-Chain

Hi @ines_valerie sorry for late reply,

Thanks for asking. The $12 k contest pool will fund on-chain TRX prizes for our launch campaign, tiered rewards for top traders plus participation bonuses.

We expect to engage ~500 users, with prizes ranging from $1 000 for top spots down to $20 for wider participation; exact tiers will flex to match sign-up numbers.

That’s ok, I understand you maybe stuck with irl activities or maybe building behind the scenes, still a late reply is better than no reply.

Why 5%? Have you checked whether that’d be enough to cover average gas costs as the volume grows?

This is a very big contest when you are looking at the amount that is involve there and I will really like to see how it goes

We picked 5% as a conservative initial allocation to test sustainability under moderate usage.

We’ll actively monitor gas cost vs. volume metrics post-launch, and if needed, we’ll adjust that split or top up the pool manually. It’s a flexible model by design, we’d rather start safe, then optimize based on live data.

Thanks @ines_valerie we’ll share detailed progress updates as each phase goes live, especially once the testnet trading league kicks off in June. Appreciate your interest :light_blue_heart:

Hello!

Regarding the trading, I understand this is to trade TRON-based assets, correct? Also, is your strategy fully automated so users add money and that is it, like an automated fund manager? Thanks!

You are very much welcome

This exact point is very interesting. So in that case, how often will you review the data? Is it on a weekly basis?

Yes, IdleTron is built around TRON-based assets, TRX initially.

Users actively choose when and how to trade. We offer the tools (charts, news, price feed, leaderboard), but users press every button themselves, both in the simulator and the real-money “TradeDesk Live” panel coming in July. (We currently do not have an infrastructure that can solve the major problems that a small error may cause, so the final approval will always be with the user.)

To summarize, it’s self-directed, not auto-managed for now.

Thank you, and yes, every few days post-launch, especially in the early stages.

If we spot any imbalances between usage and relayer cost, we’ll adjust immediately, flexibility is key.

Got it, thanks for your answer.

Very interesting project indeed.

Keep building!
