NRG wallet By NRG Team

Good work from the NRG team
My suggestion is that BNB should also be added to the multi chain since it has a wide range of users.

Yeah could be great to start with Tron, BTTC, BNB and Polygon :blush:

BNB along with Arbitrum are also supported, but our focus to begin with will be BTTC and Tron.

Welcome to Season 5, wishing y’all the very best this season. It’s fascinating what y’all got going on, I’m amazed by it. After a careful read, I clearly understand;

NRG Wallet as Streamlining complexities and financial hurdles on Tron and BTTC chains.

Objectives: User education, streamlined interaction, and community support.

Functionality: Multi-chain compatibility, cost efficiency, user education, and community support.

Vision: Cheaper and easier transactions on Tron globally. Methodology: Market research, energy efficiency, and user empowerment through education.

But I’ve one pertinent question;
What are the expected benefits for businesses and users who utilize NRG’s smart energy rental system?

Nice, waiting to see that :+1:

Hello and thanks for your patience! It’s a busy time for us indeed.

We’re currently focusing on enhancing the support for Tron BTTC in our wallet. Voting, staking, and personal energy management features are also on our roadmap. Over time, we aim to extend our support to a wider variety of blockchains and to accommodate their unique characteristics.

About the challenges we’re facing while building our wallet, it’s a great question indeed. It’s an extensive and rigorous process that involves balancing various aspects. Here are a few areas we’re paying close attention to:

Security:

At the top of our priorities is ensuring the security of the NRG Wallet. Given the sensitivity of wallet contents, we’re dedicated to implementing a robust security protocol. NRG Wallet is a self-custody wallet, meaning the users’ keys are generated and encrypted locally on their device, and they are the only ones with access to their wallet. This eliminates the need for any communication with our servers for backup or updates, enhancing overall security.

When it comes to generating addresses for the wallet and different chains, we’re putting careful thought into using BIP39. This involves rigorous testing of all used libraries and ensuring a sufficient entropy level for creating a secure mnemonic phrase in addition to this we have opted for an 18 word seed phrase to bring an extra layer of security, although the industry standard is 12 word and this is sufficient, 18 is exponentially harder to crack.

User Experience:

While security is paramount, the user experience shouldn’t suffer. We’re making sure that the NRG Wallet supports multiple languages from the get-go, including English, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Indonesian, Russian, Portuguese, and Vietnamese. We’re putting a lot of effort into crafting a user-friendly interface that is simple, yet does not compromise on features.

Given the complexity of many existing wallets, we strive to avoid a cluttered, confusing user interface and focus on maintaining a streamlined and intuitive design, even as we support more chains and accommodate their nuances.

Updates, Maintenance, Anonymity, and Privacy:

Finding the best way to roll out updates and perform maintenance without compromising user privacy and security is another significant consideration. We’re dedicated to ensuring that our processes are as non-intrusive as possible.

These aspects only scratch the surface of our ongoing considerations. Building the NRG Wallet is the result of many months of extensive research and hard work. I hope this response gives you a clearer picture of the effort we’re putting into the project.

Thanks for your interest in what we’re doing!

Will the wallet have multi-chain functionality so that it connects to TRON and EVM BTTC, BSC, ETH etc…?

Time to switch from Tronlink, which has been so dominant.

Yes that is correct it will work for the supported chains. Initially we will expand on Tron and BTTC functionalities however, our goal is to fully support many chains and their nuances.

Yo! Copy pasting a question I’ve asked in private so people won’t ask it again later:

How does it work for multichain tokens? Do the JM or bbt appear as one amount or it will be one line/chain? I assume at least 2 lines since the contract is different on Tron and evm’s. Would be cool to have all evm’s on one line and then if you click on it you see the details but don’t know how you guys see it.

I don’t remember exactly the answer given but it was something like:
We were planning to do 1 token = 1 line. But thanks to you we will reconsider that. May your genius be praised, in heaven and on earth. We are forever indebted to you. We will also name a section of the wallet ā€œFabsā€ in your honor.

(I may have exaggerated the answer very slightly, just a tiny bit)
