Project submission… Grace periods end Today

I will also blame project owners because some of them sometimes will wait till last minute before they submit their work to the admins for verification.

In addition, i may not blame the project owners
As they maybe runing round to get their projects in place before the process registration

You also have a point.

That is not an excuse though, posting in the forum about your project is something that could have been done prior to the hackathon, you just copy and paste it here. It takes no time at all to do that.

What you dont have like project website, u can say to be updated soon.

It takes no time at all to do the post. The only reason they can say they didnt post on time is the greenlight to post. That one too has been clarified by @WindsOfChange92 that they were reminded countless times so now the blame is on the project owners unless the project owners too can say its not their fault by given a tangible reason.

Well, at least 3 more days of grace for em

Today is the last day, we have 67 submissions now.
Quite good but we have 131 projects applied on Dorahacks. 64 projects are yet to publish their submissions. These projects have 3 days grace period to do so, do you think we will get to 100 by the end of the Grace period?

This is another huge fu**up, imho. Grace period? It’s an insult to all other projects that worked day and night to meet the deadlines.

I’m not shooting the messenger, btw.

Hahaha :rofl::rofl: you just killed the messenger btw.

But its all good, you have been here for a while and very familiar with how the forum works, remember we have projects and teams that just entered into this platform. Lets atleast accommodate them for now. Grace period is always needed in every aspect of our lives.

I love your dedication and hardwork you put in your project. You are one of the strong pillars around. Keep it up.

My granny will always say, when someone owes u and says give me a year to pay you back, don’t worry the year always come no matter what.

The Dorahacks submission period is a hard deadline. If projects haven’t been submitted or don’t pass Dorahacks verification. Tough luck.

3 days extra for the last minutes to also post on TRON DAO forum is something given to those noob projects. Newcomers to TRON or the TRON DAO forum. Those who might have been focused on their project and forgotten about the paperwork.

If projects are posting the last minute, the likelihood of them not fulfilling requirements is extremely high and there is no TRON BOT reminder for them to fix their submissions.

Thanks for this further explanation.:handshake:

Honestly I feel the 3 days grace is more than enough time.
I personally think before you join any hackathon the first thing to do is read the rules and eligibility requirements.

It’s true maybe they focused on building and forgot the most important thing which is to post what they have built. What happens to other projects that tried posting during the hackathon and building at the same time?

Especially projects handled by a one man team I personally think it’s unfair

Rules were made rules have to be followed

It should be as a lesson to them as they can always come back next season.

I don’t see why they should forget the most important rules

  1. Create a forum account
  2. Post and update the forum as you build your project.
  3. submit the final build on dorahacks

How will other projects feel when they tried their best to be active, communicate with us and still meet the deadline for submissions just to realize there was going to be a 72hours grace period :joy:

The community get enough time to scrutinize projects if they are submitted earlier at the forum.

Yes, can’t force people to post before deadline though. Its encouraged though. :joy:

Very true. They can only get notifications or reminders,
But not a force to post.

Lols

Good morning tronics, so far so good
Today is the second day of the 3 days grace period.

We have 86 submissions now, I have seen a project with two same submissions and also one post of interpool….

It’s quite encouraging, few projects to 100
We will see from today to tomorrow if we will hit my target of 100 projects.

If you are here and haven’t publish your submissions, please you still have the chance to do so before Wednesday :pray:t2:
@WindsOfChange92 @StevenTRON @admin.hackathon are here to give you access :pray:t2:
