Ridex : Ride Booking with Blockchain Security and Efficiency!

The UI is very user friendly and ride booking interface is like uber so its not very hard to migrate, only thong user needs to be familiar with is tronlink.

Thats a nice project you got there :fire:
Wish you best of luck.

Yeah, this reminds me of vitalik Buterin comment that refers to the trade-off between three critical aspects of blockchain technology: security, scalability and decentralization.

3 of them cant be there together.

Thank you for the clarification! It’s great to know that the platform’s UI is intuitive and resembles Uber’s interface, which should make the user transition much easier. I agree that the only key element users need to get familiar with is TronLink, but once they do, the process should be seamless. Appreciate the efforts in keeping things user-friendly while integrating blockchain technology!

Hi team!

As a mention your project is quite similar with https://amb-duber.vercel.app/ https://devfolio.co/projects/duber-decentralized-ridesharing-dapp-4ec6

Can you share us the differences apart from TRON integration?

I believe they can but not always. Knowing how important it is for a central arbitration raise my curiosity in knowing the possibility of a decentralization in your project and it’s nice we have come to an agreement that it’s not possible for this to happen.

Celebrations entering voting. Interesting concept you have here but,

  • How would you market yourself among pre-existing and reputable ride booking giants such as Uber?

How does Ridex ensure security and transparency in transactions between drivers and riders on the platform?

Here’s how I would complete

->The code is open source so anyone can selfhost this service and make them commission free. (But there is gas fees obv).

->As the rides and ratings of drivers are decentralised, it gives more trust to users.

->And the barrier to entry in none more than the tronlink extension. Rest is like booking a ride on uber.

Awesome concept can wait for the transition to the mobile app space

Are they any geographical limitations to this application

After checking out the their project, they dont have full ride booking features,

Drivers cant even select their rides, and there is no rating system in their project.

Their project just implement the user to book a ride and rest is not done.

As its a responsive web app, there wont be an issue for mobile users. But if the project is successful, we will mae a mobile app for sure.

There are not any limitations rn,
You can even book a ride from russia to usa but no driver will confirm the booking

Thanks for voting our project, I just started this project as an experiment because I am still exploring different blockchains and as a sophomore in college, its hard to extract time and give to this project. But if the project is successful then i will consider to give it full time and take it mainstream.

First of all, its not for non crypto guys, if a person does not know what decentralised means then they would not have any problem using an app like uber which is centralised. Its for those who are new to crypto space and want to build trust between riders and drivers. only thing they need to be familiar with is tronlink to use this app.
