Project Goal: Our goal is to create a Web3-powered platform that revolutionizes supply chain management, leveraging blockchain technology to enhance transparency, efficiency, and trust across industries. Through smart contracts, real-time tracking, and decentralized data storage, we aim to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enable secure, borderless transactions, ultimately reshaping how businesses manage their supply chains.

BitLogix is a blockchain-powered decentralized application (Dapp) designed to revolutionize supply chain management. BitLogix offers features like automatic payments, transparent tracking of deliveries, and the ability to collect minimal commissions on transactions.

  1. Clone the repository

First, you need to clone the repository

  1. Install Dependencies

Install the project’s dependencies:

npm install
  1. Start the Project

Once all the dependencies are installed, you can start the project:

npm run dev

The project should now be running on http://localhost:3000

  • Metamask integration ensures secure transactions and interactions with the BitTorrent chain.
  • Enterprises create products, recipients confirm receipt for efficient tracking.
  • Active participants earn tokens as one-time rewards within the ecosystem.
  • Enterprises ensure product quality and compliance by contacting the Person-in-Charge.
  • Enterprises issue NFTs as rewards to the Person-in-Charge for quality control and communication enhancement.

Project Milestones:

Phase 1

September 9 to September 14

  • Gather detailed requirements for each feature.
  • Design the user interfaces for creating product deliveries, confirming receipts, tracking deliveries, managing inventory, and displaying exchange rates.
  • Plan the architecture and integration points between frontend, smart contracts, backend.

Phase 2

September 15 to 20

  • Develop BitLogix Smart contract & test on the BitTorrent chain for handling automatic payments, product delivery, and commission distribution.
  • Develop BitLogixNFT Smart contract & test on the BitTorrent chain to mint NFT to reward person in charge for maintaining good quality control & compliance.

Phase 3

September 20 to October 5

  • Implement the user interfaces for creating product deliveries, confirming receipts, tracking deliveries, managing inventory.
  • Ensure responsiveness and usability across devices.
  • Integrate with the developed smart contract for seamless interaction.
  • Thoroughly test all features to ensure proper functionality and identify and fix any bugs or issues.
  • Prepare comprehensive README and PPT for users and developers on how to use and maintain the DApp.

BitLogix is a credible and important project because it addresses real-world challenges in supply chain management. It is also backed by a strong team of experienced professionals with a proven track record in the technology and supply chain industries.

Particularly I am super excited about the following aspects of BitLogix which are.

(3) it’s ability or quality to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Welcome to Season 5, great submission I must confess, it’s raining projects in the web3 track.
And oh, a blockchain-powered supply chain management platform automating processes, ensuring transparent tracking of products, and enabling instant payments is really relevant irl offering solutions to real life problems to be honest.

You are welcome, your project is very important and will address real life issues. The problem I have noticed about crypto projects solving real life issues is usage. You will build the platform and no one will use it. How do you plan to solve this. The most corrupt sectors we know are mostly owned by the government and this is the situation where most governments are not willing to adopt Blockchain, any plan to meet such stake holders and discuss the importance of using your platform

It’s great to hear, it’s a general knowledge that incentives can foster engagement and collaboration, as is the case within BitLogix.
Everyone wants rewards and token rewards can indeed motivate participants to actively contribute and utilize the platform effectively.
Makes me wonder about structuring, how are these token rewards structured and what mechanisms are in place to measure the effectiveness of token rewards?

You would agree with me that to maintain and encourage prolonged platform usage overtime the incentives should be sustained and topped up simultaneously so forum members like I, @Nana66419 and @Prince-Onscolo can stay overtime lol, so does BitLogix plan to sustain these incentives in the long run and are there plans to introduce additional incentive structures?

Your demo seems robust overall. Our tech team did some testing and encountered a bug when attempting to create a new enterprise role, specifically they weren’t able to move past that part and were stuck in the flow of the project.
