Website
The marketplace is now operational, and it supports all erc721 including DN404 and erc-404.
By the end of this month or within the first week of May we would have finished the collection offer( which allows someone/anyone to place an offer/bid to the entire collection rather than an individual NFT.
So buyers interested in purchasing multiple works from the same a collection at once, mostly aiming for a better price .
So example>. If a buyer place a bid on a collection for let say 200 btt, this offer is visible to the seller and the collection holders who can then decide whether to accept or reject the bid.
If a seller or any of the holder from that collection accepts the offer, the NFT will be transferred to the buyer and sales will be made )
Also please join the telegram community and if you have any questions of listings or purchasing an NFT we be sure to give a response ( scroll up }
Hello Rooni team!
Happy to see people building on BTTC !
It is good to see you have constant updates on your project post. Kudos for that ans as well on answering questions from commnity
I tested your marketplace also went trough the contracts briefly. (BTW Thank you very much for verifying your contrac on BTTC! This gives extra confidence for community and users alike!)
Did you code the complete NFT marketplace smart contract yourself? If not would you please point to the original contracts repo?
Are you considering integrating BTFS as storage solution for your NFT marketplace? If not how do you plan to store NFT data?
Please add dates in your milestones phases and sub activities so judges and admins have a better idea on progress, failing to do so might affect your final score as it is not clear what to evaluate.
Are you planning to launch an option for users to create new NFTs from scratch? If yes would you please provide estimated date ? I think this is a crucial feature for a marketplace to kick in and gain users.
Please reconsider moving your project into artistry track as it fits more into it. Please be aware that a wrong track selection might affect your qualification process.
Okay so I have included my GitHub repo in devpost , you can check it out there , the contract, the backend and the frontend.
For bfts intergation the marketplace is still new so more things will be added. Specific it will be integrated when users want to create their own NFT collection.( And truthfully the “create collection” is not really a priority, but if more people are interested we could spin that up in a week time or send me DM I will help you create the collection)
For activities I will try and update more frequently, most update are minor optimization changes for the backend api and UI, I’ll update more.
Have a question , we are trying to get some feedback on the overall performance of the market which includes the UI , speed and your experience ( UX ).
I think the UI is cool but where I have a recommendation is on the bar below BTTC NFT Collections. Is it not possible to list it with the names of the NFTs so that it can save users the hurdles of flipping through hundreds of NFTs before getting the ones they are interested in?
I understand you correctly but if you like to list an NFT and it not Whitelisted you just need to search that NFTs contract address in the search bar. Which will redirect you to collection page of that NFTs.
yes i can see the contract verified, then why were you stated your github repo in devpost?
im just curious what ur backend does as you explained want to be fully decentralised as possible.
Is there testnet version? so people can try to list it?
your marketplace really new, so no way people want to list or buy from that immediately. even if you have deployed to mainnet, it will be pointless if there’s no tx. you need to provide testnet/staging version first for people to try
Transcation on mainnet is actually cheap if you want some NFT to try out go to https://nuggets.cfd/
And mint some free NFTs
In the wallet page only Whitelist NFT will be showed.
If you own an NFT and is not Whitelisted then search the collection address ( search bar) and choose my NFT. This will display the NFT you own me that specific collection
We have two backend ( one for getting basic & cache things like description, name and image for all collection) this way the page loads faster which is the Middle ware.
The second one purpose is to simply monitor any/all event from the marketplace contract and save that into our backend DBs
yeah but I want to use my own NFTs and guide our community to this marketplace.
I direct my community to play our testnet game and claim NFT they found
then i direct my community to list their NFT to this marketplace.
again, as I mentioned. our community prefer to testnet first and also our game is still not on mainnet yet.
you can use testnet for reliability and other hackathon participants to test as good way to promote your platform too.
I love your website design and the dark view make it more interesting. Will there be any option to include an auction sell in your platform just like many other platforms?
We did consider that but when you check on most marketplace that feature is not nearly used.
But in essence you buyers can use the offer/bids which allow them to bids on any asset regardless of whether that NFT is listed or not. And the owner of that NFTs can choose to accept that bids or not
You are right about that but there are some users that still prefer that option because it gives them the opportunity to choose from the highest bidder to sell their assets to. I believe it will be good to have it added to your platform
Well I understand, I will talked with shadowkite with this. But as of now people can still bid and seller/owner of an NFT choose any bidder they will like to sell to and for ( price )
