When can we expect to get an update on how the Tron Builders League will work and what are the expectations from the projects?
It would be good to know so we can adapt our posting and submission update strategy accordingly.

You made a valid point, as it stands no updates about when submission will end and how many projects to be qualified for the TBL

I think there is no timeframe for submissions in the TBL. It has funding pool of $10 million which will be allotted to deserving projects. There is no limited time period for submissions. TBL is for the long term till the funding pool exhausts or it can go beyond. But some clarifications are needed from TRON DAO team on how a project should proceed after they have fully submitted their projects in TBL.
Maybe @admin.hackathon @SimbadMarino @WindsOfChange92 can provide more clarity on it.

After reading through submissions, I agree. Some details for when funding allocation will begin would be a great way to see which projects going forward are true to their commitment, And gives others time to rework/adjust their project and get potential feedback to get access to the funds.

Is the TBL for Tron network only or projects that were building for Bittorrent Chain can apply too?
It’s more like an accelerator than a hackathon, right?
so the Tron dao works closely with applicants before distributing any funds or there is a judging period?

Tron ecosystem usually means BTt is included.
Incubator type and nothing like the HackaTrons.

I’m curious how BTTC projects will be accelerated, because that chain is still mostly mining empty blocks, but I trust the Tron Dao will know what to do.
I hope there will be enough transparency to see the decision making, planning and funding allocations.

Transparency is usually not a problem with the admins here. Think they are good at giving feedback and explain their decisions.
If the idea is good enough I don’t think it matters what chain as long as its within the Tron ecosystem. Its been like that in all the Hackatrons as well.

Actually Tron needs to be integrated following some info I’ve got last month. BTTC alone isn’t sufficient this time, unless the rule changed.

It’s good to clarify it, The TRON Builders League (TBL) Rules, Terms & Conditions mentions this in the Introduction:
long-term funding and incubation program designed to support innovative projects building on TRON and BTTC.
It kind of seems like that either one is good, but as far as user adoption goes they are miles apart and imho BTTC really needs a user acquisition strategy.

I agree 100% with you. BTTC needs on-chain activity way more than Tron does and provides and cheap and fast infrastructure.
Also the wording is ambiguous. But the info I’ve got from an admin is that projects have to be built on Tron & BTTC or at least Tron. Not just BTTC.
