Project Overview

Project Goal: The goal of the TRON MEGATEAM & Portal is to create a unified, on-chain system that powers all community, development, and ecosystem-building initiatives across TRON.

By combining milestone-based funding, transparent contributor tracking, and smart contract escrow, the Portal aims to streamline how TRON activates talent, distributes capital, and scales global impact—making it easier than ever to build, contribute, and thrive within the TRON ecosystem.

Furthermore, the TRON MEGATEAM initiative establishes a community‑driven MEGA‑DAO opportunity marketplace, bounty, AND governance portal that channels TRON DAO treasury funds into high‑impact builder quests, regional squads, and ecosystem growth programs. By combining the best elements of Upwork, Kickstarter, and on‑chain governance, MEGATEAM transforms TRON’s cultural momentum into sustained technical innovation and user adoption.

How is the Project Governed?: Hybrid

Funding & Business Model

The MEGATEAM & Portal operates on a mission-aligned, win-win model:

  • Funding Source: Primarily funded by TRON DAO through a dedicated ecosystem development budget. Additional support can come from partner protocols, sponsors, or regional TRON communities.
  • Escrow-Based Payments: Funds are held in smart contract escrow and only released when Guardians (trusted reviewers) approve milestone completion.
  • Sustainable Incentives: A small percentage of each payout (e.g. 1-3%) may be reserved for platform sustainability, contributor rewards, and reviewer incentives.
  • Revenue Opportunity: As the Portal grows, it can host third-party quests, sponsored bounties, or external DAO proposals—creating a revenue loop that supports TRON-native builders long-term.

In short, value flows to those who deliver, with the DAO as the initiator and the community as the engine.

Funding Request: TBD

Revenue Model: Three routes to be discussed with the community:

1. Profit-Driven (“Earn or Expire”)
Seed grant, then lives on sponsor fees, ads, and recruiting revenue—must hit profitability or fees rise.

2. Ecosystem-Impact (“Public Good”)
Ongoing DAO funding; tiny fees only to deter spam. Success measured by growth in TRON transactions, not profit.

3. Hybrid Phased (“Grow → Sustain”)
Starts mostly DAO-funded, ramps up marketplace fees over three years, and ends self-sustaining with minimal DAO support.

Interested in TRON Having a Stake?: Yes

Preferred Collaboration Method: TRON DAO should lead by funding this initiative and implement the system so that the community can participate utilizing the infrastructure.

Ecosystem Impact

Partnerships: MEGATEAM’s Impact on the TRON Ecosystem

  1. More Apps, Faster

Hundreds of new dApps, tools, and content pieces launch because builders get paid instantly for results.

  2. Bigger Global Community

    • Hubs and city squads drive local meet‑ups, tutorials, and social buzz—so TRON shows up everywhere from Lagos to Tokyo.
  3. Higher Network Activity

    • Each funded project—and its users—adds transactions, wallet sign‑ups, and TVL, boosting TRON’s on‑chain metrics.
  4. Reinforced Security & Trust

    • Guardian reviews and continuous audits mean only quality code reaches main‑net, protecting users and TRON’s reputation.
  5. Flywheel Funding Loop

    • Platform fees and outside sponsor money refill the bounty pool, so growth becomes self‑sustaining instead of one‑off.

Result: TRON gains more real users, more useful apps, and stronger global brand recognition—all while keeping the chain fast, cheap, and profitable for everyone.

Time on TRON: Have not launched yet.

Project Milestones

Project Milestones: See the Proposal Document attached for more details. A brief overview is below.

Project Milestones (8 Phases)

  1. Phase 1: UI/UX & Core Architecture

    • Build front-end interface (wallet login, bounty board, submission system)
    • Set up TRON wallet integration (TronLink)
    • Map user roles: Sponsor, Guardian, Contributor
  2. Phase 2: Smart Contract Escrow System

    • Deploy milestone-based escrow contracts
    • Link payments to verified completion (multi-sig or Guardian approval)
  3. Phase 3: Guardian Console

    • Launch scoring dashboard for reviewers
    • Add signature-based approvals with notes/comments
    • Onboard initial Guardians
  4. Phase 4: Sponsor Console

    • Enable sponsors (DAO, protocols, orgs) to create and fund quests
    • Add budget setting, milestone control, and impact metrics
  5. Phase 5: Submission Vault & Impact Tracking

    • Store and organize submissions
    • Display contribution history and on-chain reputation
  6. Phase 6: Regional Squad Activation

    • Launch geofiltered views for local contributors
    • Onboard 3–5 regional teams for pilot programs
    • Add language localization
  7. Phase 7: Analytics Dashboard & Public Transparency

    • Display live funding flow, completion rates, and impact metrics
    • Launch community leaderboard and quest completion stats
  8. Phase 8: Open Ecosystem Expansion

    • Open portal to all TRON-aligned projects and sponsors
    • Add referral + reputation incentives
    • Enable small platform fee to sustain DAO treasury or reward pool

Project in 5 Years:

In five years, the MEGATEAM Portal will be the beating heart of the TRON ecosystem.

It will be where every idea becomes action—the first stop for developers, creatives, marketers, and founders looking to contribute to TRON.

Every grant, hackathon, marketing campaign, infrastructure bounty, or community experiment will be launched and tracked through the Portal—with TRON wallets as identity, smart contracts as trust, and milestone-based reviews as governance.

Regional squads will operate like local TRON agencies, powered by the Portal. Ecosystem contributors will have on-chain resumes. TRON’s growth will be quantifiable through completions, impact scores, and contributor earnings—all live and public.

Just like GitHub became the home for open-source code, the MEGATEAM Portal will become the home of decentralized progress on TRON—a self-sustaining engine where execution is rewarded and innovation never stops.

Hello, interesting proposal.
I will read it and later post my comments and/or questions.

Welcome to TBL by the way :slightly_smiling_face:

Reinforced Security & Trust

  • Guardian reviews and continuous audits mean only quality code reaches main‑net, protecting users and TRON’s reputation.

There’s a huge opportunity for someone to launch an AI auditor that verifies that smart contract code and analyzing how secure it is , gives a risk rating , gives some written analysis.

And all this doesnt expose the smart contract code so it cant be stolen - basically zero knowledge proof of a secure smart contract audit.

Ive seen a DEX project have a AI auditor that gives a risk rating and detects honey pots , so atleast this risk rating can be done , plus identifying roughly what is happening in the contract.

Joined the spaces, loved the idea but to replace builders league and Hackatron is what I do not support 100%. The community part is much needed especially building regional heads and others. Adding the Hackatron and builders league will be too much job. Why not concentrate on community

Just my lower IQ opinion lol

All the best :folded_hands:

Hello!

I just went through the PDF. I have to admit, I didn’t read all of it — in my opinion, it’s a bit too long, a bit confusing, and somewhat repetitive. That said, it’s definitely fascinating and shows a strong long-term vision.

My question is: what is the amount being requested from TBL, and what are the deliverables for this year? I’d really like to understand how things will start to take off so I can get a clearer picture of this big initiative.

Thanks!

P.S. As @Prince-Onscolo mentioned, I am also not convinced at all of replacing builders league and Hackatron as I undertood from the reading, each one target different levels.

This would be the system in which TRON can execute such initiatives

They would operate within this system. – Not necessarily replacing, they would submit the “GIG” or “Quest” using this platform. Allowing for transparent management of said initiatives. I will reword it! Thank you  You are here, you are high IQ <3

This needs to start completely by the community for the community until a consensus is met. You should read it all if you are intrigued. :stuck_out_tongue:

Welcome to TBL, your proposal is quite short and straight to the point. Just maybe you can incorporate the details of your funding request and 5year roadmap into your submission here in the forum rather than the “see proposal documents attached” tag, thanks.

SolidityScan by Credshields?
They have smart contract AI auditor/scanner integrated directly into Remix.
They also provide jm Explorer with the token AI scan (for honeyspot etc).

Alright thank you, so I can say it will also serve as a platform where HackaTRON or builders league can be hosted. Just like Devpost and other platforms?

Details will be added. If you have not reviewed the attached proposal document. Please do, it goes in-depth and also has many examples what the user interface could look like.

GM guys,

To be honest, I am not a forum user. So my initial post here was short as the format is not my preferred method of sharing information or receiving. I have made some updates to the post this morning, hopefully it interests those who did not review the attached PDF, to consider it. Looking forward to adding more details as the community asks questions and brings ideas.

  • This is by far from perfect, but it is an idea whose time has come. I welcome everyone to help sculpt this into the best thing to empower all users of TRON.

You did the right thing by re-doing your initial submission, just goes to show you pay attention to community and member opinions.

I’m already reviewing the attached proposal as I type, quite lengthy tho.

The 1–3% platform fee you talked about, would that be enough to cover for development and operations? Asking cause it’s almost like if TRON DAO stops funding, the project automatically pauses.
Pardon me, just a random thought.

Haha no worries, its a valid question! >>>“Does the MEGATEAM Portal need to ‘make money’?”

  • Only as much as TRONSCAN needs to. Its primary value is the on‑chain activity it unlocks, not the fees it collects.

Why the Portal matters

  • Every bounty, milestone payout, or quest executed through the Portal is a TRX‑denominated transaction.
  • More transactions → more burn and network security → stronger TRON economy.
  • That upside dwarfs any modest platform fee we might charge.
  • But there are plenty of ways to generate revenue that we can bake into it if needed.
