The blockchain trilemma: Decentralization, security, and scalability

So hilarious :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:
The man in this picture will then be wishing for 1000% security and maybe 10 or 20% speed :joy::joy:

Security is more important in the Blockchain.

Security is essential for any blockchain that is intended to be used for financial transactions or other sensitive data, however security can also make the blockchain more expensive and slow.

This is a very important topic and I’m glad you brought it up, I’m very big on security as opposed to other criteria mentioned.
These attributes are often seen as competing priorities, as improvements in one area can impact another. Decentralization offers resistance to fraud and censorship but can hinder scalability. Security is crucial for sensitive data but can make the network more expensive and slow. Scalability is important for mass adoption but might compromise security.
Achieving a balance between decentralization, security, and scalability in blockchain is a complex challenge. Prioritizing these elements depends on the specific use case. Innovations like PoS, Layer 2 solutions, and hybrid approaches aim to address the trilemma. Continuous research, community engagement, and transparent communication are vital. Learning from successful projects like Ethereum 2.0 and staying adaptable to emerging solutions ensures blockchain’s growth while managing trade-offs effectively.

No issues, when you ready you can inform us when and where you need testers?

Trust it will not be harmful?

@Okorie Thanks for your contribution, seems the vote on Security will take the lead.
Very important not to be joked with.

This is getting serious, imagine have full security, then to make other deal in and out of crypto will be peaceful

yeah bro, i have used eth and btc even before tron and other new chains with speed. We used to wait or pay high gas fees to process our transactions early. People were still enjoying that time, scams were there but they were not more than we see today and even that it was through ignorant.

Security then Scalability, Then decentralization.

Without security, no one will use it.

Without scalability, not everyone can use it.

Without decentralization, means you have to trust the entity.

Ok now my question is, with all the blockchains we have which one has the weakest security and which one has the strongest security.

For scalability, I am ok

Lastly, which one is more decentralized and which one is less decentralized?

Please help me. Thank you

Let me add this, why was polygon created? Was it to solve the scalability issues of eth?

This is best, thanks for your contribution.
Yes to Security,
Yes, Scalability is important.
For Decentralization, we can chose to trust the Central body, example the bank and government. Lols

Perfect, we have examples of these especially with the scalability. Still people use eth blockchain over others
