TRON Grand Hackathon $5K prizes for the community

Changed to “Modern” democracy

You sure of that?
I’m not even versed at all in history so I won’t dispute. I did cover government types (Feudalism, Democracy, Oligarchy) and USA was never mentioned, guess my tutor skipped it

France and USA can both be considered the birthplaces of Modern democracy.

They’re not even age mates, I mean France quite older than the US, that’s like saying South Sudan and US being birthplace of modern Democracy just because S.Sudan adopted it after their Independence

This is a great platform. Everyone wins.

What’s your view about point 1 n 2 :point_up_2:t2::point_up_2:t2: @TronLive :smiley::smiley:

For first question: Participating project must build a working product on Tron or BTTC network to be eligible. I see some S2 projects on forum didn’t integrate or build anything on tron yet but still eligible for voting.

For second question: If Anyone buying vote it’s clear that they are loosing and they have no morals. Just kick them out.

This project is Top notch. Amazing work by @TuruGlobal

Yeah I also like it

S2 draws towards the end … the final lap with approx 50 hours to go ! Best wishes to all the participants.
For me it has been fun and learning experience… look forward to make many more new friends in coming days :innocent:

The last few hours are always the most exciting and stressful ones

Especially if there is some bot action happening… and then those bot votes getting removed from the final score :rofl:

Do you think that those who have bought bots and see their votes removed by the admins will ask a refund to the bot seller?

At the risk of their project itself being flagged as risky in various forums :sweat_smile:

I think I miss the chance on community contributor :face_with_peeking_eye:

Every team should remember that the TronDAO forum prize is not the most important one, so getting “creative” to win the vote battle might actually mean being cut-off from the big prizes that are assigned by the judges on DevPost.

Good luck to all participants for the last 24 hours of voting and what will come next. I feel that the Tron community as a whole gets stronger after each round of Hackathons and the “good” projects that keep building and working tirelessly will be noticed by users, experts and KOLs.

Doesnt TronDAO check the winners and require real people to collect the prize not just a wallet? Primo Would recommend a champions category. All projects who have won 1st,2nd,3rd in the past move into the 5th track which would be battle of the champions.

True … money is temporary… the bigger reward comes in form of adoption and usage of the product n the ecosystem :+1:

They verify the identity one member of the team indeed. That’s why you had to fill the name and physical address of a team member

The problem here was “big community projects” against “newcomers”.
So it would make more sense to put all the projects 1year+ or 2years+ of existence together. 1year+ projects had at least one year to build a community.

Primo isn’t a new comer. It’s one of the oldest, or the oldest, project amongst all the participant. You had plenty of time to gather enough people to push you on the top of the ranking.

But anyway I think the current version is the simplest and fairest. Everybody together. And if you don’t have a community now, it’s alright, if you build great stuffs, people will come a day or an other and you will have your opportunity to win. You need new ideas and new products (or substantially improved but I prefer new products personally) to participate. So one project won’t participate 20 times unless they have a huge creativity and, therefore, keep growing Tron ecosystem.
