My advice?
Keep your heads high, gain publicity and then start with ghana since youāre on ground to make it work.
I love the project idea.

What is TronPower?
Tron Power is a blockchain-based energy trading platform, which allows individuals or organizations to buy and sell renewable energy directly with each other.
There are three types of users in TronPower:

- Prosumers: This are users who generate electricity and also consumer electricity.

- Producers: This are users who only generate electricity.

- Consumers: This are users who consume electricity only.
Advantages of TronPower include:
Decentralization: Enables peer-to-peer energy trading, eliminating the need for intermediaries and allowing for more efficient and transparent transactions.
Increased efficiency: By enabling users to buy and sell energy directly, the platform can help to reduce waste and optimize the use of renewable energy resources.
Improved sustainability: Encourages the use of renewable energy sources and help to reduce carbon emissions, thus contributing to the fight against climate change.
Cost savings: By allowing users to purchase energy directly from prosumers and producers, the platform can help to lower energy costs and reduce dependence on traditional energy providers.
In terms of certifying prosumers and producers, TronPower requires participants to provide proof of their certification, such as a certificate of origin for their renewable energy production, to ensure that the energy being traded is legitimate and meets certain standards.
This certificate are being given by approved organization and differs with regions. Prosumers and Producers with this certification will be more visible on the marketplace this will ensure we have upmost transparency.
In sense of carbon credits, Tronpower new update (still deciding) could potentially incentivize the generation of renewable energy by allowing prosumers and producers to earn credits for the energy they generate and sell. These credits could then be sold to other participants in the platform who are seeking to offset their carbon emissions. By facilitating the trading of these credits, the platform can help to encourage the use of renewable energy and support the transition to a more sustainable energy system.
Thereās a lot of engineering being done here on Tronpower as Iāve spent the last 2-4days doing the following:

- Stimulating the circuit using proteus to handle the interaction between the smart meter and the smart contract.

- Writing the smart contract for certificate validation to make sure that all certificates provided by prosumers and producers are stored on the blockchain and visible in the marketplace.
My journey so far
Initially TronPower was my idea for solving the problems faced my electricity consumers in Ghana and above but with the help of this forum community Iāve been able to get more amazing ideas to make Tron power have more IRL utility and giving Tronpower a chance to be accepted in real world.
Starting from questions asked by @manfred_jr about certification and questions asked by everyone of you.
It has helped me improve and see the use to work more on this project.

Iāve always wanted to ask about the carbon credit stuff why itās not being used in Tron power since itās helps in renewable energy too
