Project Goal:
TronStory aims to revolutionize the way authors distribute and monetize their books using NFTs. By allowing authors to mint a limited number of NFTs for each copy of their book, TronStory provides both ownership and resale capabilities, creating a new revenue stream for authors and ongoing value for readers.
Project Value:
TronStory leverages blockchain technology to give authors full control over their content distribution, ensuring transparency and verifiability with NFT ownership. The decentralized nature of the platform provides a secondary marketplace where NFT holders can resell books, allowing value to be retained long after the initial sale. Future developments include audiobooks and community-backed movie adaptations, enhancing the scope of digital storytelling.
Browse available NFT books and select one to purchase.
After purchasing, download the book in PDF format.
Resell the NFT in the marketplace once the author’s copies are sold out.
Project Details:
TronStory allows authors to mint a specific number of NFTs for their books, with each NFT granting readers access to download the book in PDF format. After the initial copies are sold, users can resell their NFTs, creating a secondary market. Future features include audiobook integration and community-funded book-to-movie projects, expanding the platform’s reach beyond digital publishing.
Welcome to Hackathon season 7, i appreciate your work. But can you tell me that is there only option to convert books to pdf format or there are more format options for book downloading.
Welcome to the hackathon season 7
Your goal of giving authors full control over the distribution of their books and the ability for the NFT holders to resell their books thereby retaining the value of books after its sold is amazing. My questions on this approach are;
Are there any mechanisms in place to prevent unauthorized copying or distribution of content once it is sold as an NFT?
Are there any royalties or commission structures in place for authors when their books are resold in the secondary market?
Hello there,
This is a very smart question, so in this first version release the only format supported will be only pdfs.
In the Phase 2 a lot more format will be supported , including audio format (For Audio books)
The terms and conditions state that authors or users wishing to upload books written by other authors must first obtain the necessary copyright permissions. If they fail to do so and the original author is unaware of the upload, an account will be created for the rightful owner, and ownership of the NFT and the book listing will be transferred to them. The violating user’s account will be blacklisted, and all their other posts will be removed from the marketplace.
To answer your second question there is no commission structures or royalties for authors when their books are resold in the secondary market, cause the author has transferred full ownership right when they sell it to a user.
Ok thanks for the answers. I like the part that users who publish other people’s work without permission get blacklisted from the platform. It will help in reducing the rate of copyright issues. Now most of the problem people that offer this kind of service have is getting authors that will publish their books in the platform.
How will you solve this and attract authors to publish books in your platform?
Welcome to the Hackathon of season 7, I have read everything in you’re project, please tell me how are you going to be educating your authors and readers that don’t understand NFT and Blockchain yet, thank you
Welcome to hackaTron S7. If I’m not mistaken what your project is offering, you’re building a project that allow authors to mint limited NFTs that represent physical copies of their books and sell to the public? What happen when these limited NFTs get sold out and there are still increasing number of demands in the market, a demand that out numbered the number of NFTs offered in the initial sell. How will this demand be met?
Welcome to Grand hackathon my question is based on @Chukseucharia has asked about royalties i want to get more clarified on that,…aside that that do you have the capability to spread your wings on onboarding artist/ authors because a project like this can easily be dead without no users, any plans on collaboration?
Hi @DevX ,
Bookstore have 2 apps one in control of author and other is in control of user who see the store and purchase the book on Tron blockchain.
As my understanding is right?
Welcome to Hackathon Season 7, I see this aims to create a decentralized platform for authors to distribute and monetize their books using NFTs. What technologies will be used for the audiobook integration and community-funded projects?
We will closely monitor orders, and if an author has sold out their supply, all users who previously purchased the NFT/Book will be notified about pending orders. This alert will inform them that there is significant demand, encouraging them to list their products on the resale marketplace, where these orders can then be fulfilled.
Yes, this will be included as part of our onboarding campaign, where we conduct extensive outreach to authors, artists, and, most importantly, users with an interest in books and art.
No royalties will be distributed to users; it will function as a straightforward marketplace where goods are bought and sold.
We would use Google vision model to extract text from the PDF or document(Story), then we use google Text to Speech API to generate the audio book, which will be available to our users

The marketing plan to market the new audiobook feature to authors and readers is yet to be decided
This solution simplifies the process of creating audiobooks and broadens accessibility for users.
Will authors have the ability to customize the generated audiobooks, such as selecting specific voice types or adding sound effects to enhance the listening experience?
