The legal ownership is a tricky issue. To make the VBS scalable over multiple countries. The actual ownership of the properties will lie with TuruGlobal.
However TuruGlobal will make a legal mortgage agreement with the owners of the brick of that specific property (the DAO). It means legally the DAO has borrowed money for the property to TuruGlobal, where the property is the underlying asset for the mortgage. The rent revenue which is paid out to the DAO is then seen as the interest for the mortgage.
In this way the mortgage agreement is am endless agreement between brick owners and TuruGlobal. Using this structure, we have no need for KYC for everyone in the DAO only for one person representing the DAO.

Appartement owners usually have to face fixed monthly costs (electricity in the common parts, cleaning of the entrance, stairs, lift) + extraordinary costs (in case of unexpected damage or the fix the damage caused by the time). Those last ones can be very high (for instance fixing the roof). Are you going to create a reserve of funds for those costs to be sure that the project can face any unexpected issue even if the appartement doesn’t find any tenant?

The good news is we have team members in India, in our sequence of countries to switch on, we will be going for countries where we have boots on the ground first.
Every country has different laws regarding to real estate property ownership, so it is essential to do the due diligence before investing. For that it is important to have access to local laws. So in mid term India for sure will be considered
There are three sections to your question:
- fixed monthly cost will be deducted from the rent and the result will be paid proportionally to Brick NFT holders
- unexpected issues is something which needs to be decided by the DAO for a secific property. They can decide to put aside some money from the income received to have a buffer in case of extraordinary expense occurs, or in case it happens TuruGlobal will borrow the money to the DAO an resume payments of income when the loan is paid back.
- In case a property cannot find a tenant, there will be no income. TuruGlobal is chosing properties in major cities in high demand areas to prevent this situation

For starters, I would love to gift one to my brother and sister-in-law for their first wedding anniversary in May!
I would personally love to explore more ideas around revenue generation from the property we own - for example, renting out the property for cross metaverse games to earn passive income. Need to shape the idea into a solid plan with partnership projects! I’m confident in the team and feel strongly that this could become big!

Why not a lending platform where people can borrow tokens using their bricks as a collateral
