I am sure no dev likes to drop a project, and would have struggled to find the means to generate sustainable revenue out of it before deciding to move on.
Moreover, if they have been selected by judges or community we shall honour them as well as the community member prize recipients who keep the forum busy.
I think this time should be a different scenario, like phase wise distribution of prize money.
The final cut must be a larger one, just to ensure we can find the hackathon winners around us during the next hackathon too and we guys be actively using their projects by S7.
As @Gordian rightly said, if you can deploy before judging begins it’s all good but if I am not mistaken, the project should be a project that is built during the hackatron period (I stand to be corrected though)
Agree to a part of it… No one starts to shut it down… But starting it, getting the prize & then leaving it by saying/blaming there’s no revenue/users etc whereas other projects competing with u are still grinding, making quality products, building ecosystem, earning etc.
Then there’s surely something to think of
It has always been the same. You will see some Devs that will keep acting up and deploy their projects to mainnet just to receive the prize. Immediately they prize is distributed, they abandon their projects and look elsewhere that is why I suggested for a pool called Development Treasury Account in one of my recommended ways of ensuring that the prize is utilise in the development of the ecosystem.

Hi @Chukseucharia, thank you for asking questions on this new prize!
Allow me to help you and the community understand more about the new Ecosystem Inclusivity Prize. It’s essentially to reward projects that show significant engagement with the TRON community on a diverse array of platforms.
The timing of the award will take place at the same time as the other Bonus Prizes after Milestone 2 is complete. The date is June 28th for Milestone 2.
2 & 3. It’s not explicitly stated that attendance at offline events is a mandatory requirement for eligibility. However, it does emphasize the importance of active participation in a range of TRON community events, which could include both online and offline activities.
There are multiple TBTs, or TRON Builder Tours, happening during Season 6 of the HackaTRON. Please pay attention to our social media channels to be aware of the TBT stops. The first one is upcoming in Denver next week.
The online events include Twitter Spaces. We hope to see you there!
Good luck to all participants and projects competing in Season 6 of the HackaTRON Please feel free to tag myself @StevenTRON , @HunterTRON, or @EMerchant for any questions regarding the event #Buidl
OK. Thanks a lot for the explanations. it really helped in clearing my confusion and I know, it help other community members in developing a better understanding on the topic.
It seems like this year is going to be a great year for the ecosystem with these set of TBT events happening. I will be more than happy to participate in one of these events
