I saw the update already in your original TBL submission, way to go man!!

My favorite topic right now is going to be something like say gas prices and how it can be negative to how people will want to interact with a blockchain particular when it become very very high, thank you

When you find the answer to this problem, please tell me !

Thank you ! Same to you, I hope you had a great one.
Mine was sunny after a month of heavy rain. So it was good to see some sun at last !

yes, I am not sure how Gas works, I haven’t looked into it, maybe it is a setting in the blockchain itself, or maybe it is by design.

Some chain are more expensive than others.

In term of gaz, compared to other crypto, TRON is very unique - because it allows to have a contract to pay a % of fees. But last time I checked, tron was very very expensive without going trough energy rental - which is not a friendly step in term of user experience.

The Library soon will offer TRON in addition to CORE. I am currently iterating the development with CORE - because of the cost of making mistake is lower while working on testnet.

With 5000 free TRX per day on testnet, I can only do 3-4 iterations per day.

Book clubs are coming
I am hoping to integrate other blockchain tech , and to create one book club per blockchain.
Some Crypto club might be more into one topic than others, and I am curious to see the data.

They all will share the same common index (for now) , only their analytics will be different (different user base)

It will also help compare the cost of operation of each tech stack next to each others - when sharing the exact same solidity code.

This is coming soon, I am hoping by the end of next week - to have something new deployed. But that looks promising.

My friend designer and I are really on the same page now, he understand what I need, and he’s been producing some great designs for me to implement inside the library.

I am very excited to get it done properly .

My weekend so far it has been very good and I am very happy to see what you are building, I go to library sometime and to see it as a web3 project is a wonderful thing

How did the weekend go my man?

I went shopping at the big city market, filled up the fridge with veggies & fruits , and bring some of it to my elder friend. It was good to have a bit of sun.

I also just found out that AI Claude 4 is really good at writing gas efficient solidity code.
Much better than me. And Claude likes the Library project too !!!

The Data Scientist smart contract is now unit tested as well, which is even better.

I hope to get the Stats page done by this end of the week. Lots of progress coming forward.

It is amazing because once I got that whole code and data structure stable and deployed, it will be much more easier to build new functionalities.

What takes me so much time is that I am also building a code generation tool in parrallel, with the Library being a real life implementation. Which forces me to make it properly.

the codegen allows me to define data model in JSON, and it generates all the model code - which is optimized for being saved in a solidity contract, and it is designed to work in offline mode too.

So when I am done with that new iteration - it will be much easier for me to create the Audio Recording App we’re talking about here. [ At least the data storage side of it ].

How about your weekend @manfred_jr

It’s good that you made out time over the weekend to go to the market yourself, I know the experience firsthand, also perfect that you got some stuffs for your elderly friend, I can’t help but imagine his facial expression. You do strike me like you’re vegan, but that’s by the way.

Glad you’re finding Claude 4 pretty useful, it’s what I’ve been using for a while now ever since I think you or maybe some other founder suggested it in the forum, even had to ditch Chatgpt 4o for Claude.

My weekend was awesome, it was more of a football tournament type of weekend, the UCL finals precisely, so I did more of catching up over a few drinks, nothing overboard, thanks for asking :folded_hands:t2:

A little update.

I have been very busy making D Library full production ready, and I am still struggling with some technical complications with integrating Wallets into a Wallet-less design - without breaking the “no-account” promise.

I also just finished moving to Little Lhasa, and I have a good desk setup here where I will be able to be consistently productive for the next 3 months.

I also got some great updates: I will have the opportunity to test and design this voice app concept with real people here too.

For those who are not tech-savy , I will like to keep a reminder that crypto is a very hard tech to build on compared to traditional web2 tech.

It is about 10x order of magnitude harder. It is harder because everything is more complex, slower, less battle tested and much less user friendly.

I am considering building this voice app on top of crypto tech, but doing iteration on top a hard tech is not helpful to deliver a working prototype fast.

Taking a shortcut and using some 3d party to store voice data and data (in general) means that I will break your privacy by giving a recording of your voice to a private corporation - that will be later free to clone it, feed it to AI, get hacked, and then, few years down the line, someone in your circle gets at risk of getting scammed by an elaborate AI that cloned your voice…
Because that 3d party sold your data away - ( or got hacked because they’re too cheap on security ).

When I got some funding with T.B.L., I can be able to build a team with that money in India, and to get all the loving and critical feedback I need from the Buddhist Monk community at the same time.

So far, my main focus is within the Library, which keep getting sabotaged while I am making it. Living under the poverty threeshold for many years makes me and my work environment very vulnerable to attacks , or disturbance, as I don’t have the luxury to have a healthcare, a stable address, or even the capacity to get a proper desk most of the time.
When I get some good audience to tell all my adventures collected along the way, I will share them - but unfortunately for me, most people that have been hanging around me i the last 7 months have been mostly energy vampires :slightly_smiling_face: And because I don’t have any $(or time) to look at this problem - I dedicate 100% of my energy to the Library for the moment - and fighting the setbacks ( And they are so many - it’s not funny).

I am also considering expanding my search for funding into other spheres, so far I only looked into the crypto community - because the tech I am using is crypto - and the vision of crypto has always been financial freedom, and ID protection.

But because I witnessed that the most crypto communities are NOT interested into sustainable practices, or public domain services that can benefit the community - Even those who pretend they are - have been ignoring any request I made to start a communication with them… I am not going to say names, but basically… All of them are full of politics, and they don’t walk the talk.
The D-Safe Label forbids any politics, and I am glad that there are all those political corporates built on top of crypto money - looking to “invest” into money making products ( the D-Licence forbids any financial transaction ).
It means all those people have a place to go and be happy - and those who are into a more spiritual / knowledge seeking journey can come visit the only D-Safe Library on the planet.

This is why I am considering getting some distance from the crypto world, and TBL is probably the last crypto public place where D-Library will appear.

I posted the contact links from https://datapond.earth directly to D-Library TBL forum, and it will stay there for the next few years (or maybe forever - since crypto storage is advertised as “permanent” for everyone willing to see by themself.

It is a public service (in construction) - D-Library might look like an atomic bomb of a product just in few months / years.

All communications with D-Library representatives is public.

I chose the TBL platform for dealing with public communications. It is free, and the vibe is good.

D-Library doesn’t care about getting TBL funding - it will eventually get funding , this year, next year or in 10 years - but I will keep using the TBL space for public communications.

The D-Voice project will start here if securing funding, otherwise, some other public platform might be better to find collaborators, or anyone willing to donate some of their time (or money) to build the future of decision making.
