Brawls Champions | Prediction marketplace on BTTC & Tron

Hey, JustAuth team! :rocket: I’ll definitely check out your project—email-based auth solutions are something Tron is missing. :e-mail::lock: We’ll see if you’re a good fit for integration when we launch on Tron. Looking forward to exploring the possibilities! :handshake::sparkles:

Hey man! Thanks a ton for checking out the platform—really appreciate it! :pray: I’ve noticed lots of comments but not enough people actually giving the platform a try. So props to you for diving in! :raised_hands:

The idea behind BRAWLS (our in-game currency) is to make adoption super easy without the hassle of wallets right off the bat. Of course, you can use BTTC too, but we wanted to remove any barriers to entry. As you mentioned, new users get 1000 BRAWLS to jump in and start brawling on any event that sparks their interest! :crossed_swords::fire:

You can also check out the Tasks section to complete daily and special tasks for more BRAWLS. And don’t forget, every event you brawl in gives you a chance to earn big if you’re right. :moneybag:

Once we get support from Tron DAO, we’ll add liquidity, and you’ll be able to redeem your BRAWLS for $BRAWL tokens on-chain. So, this is the perfect time to start farming those BRAWLS and get ahead! :money_with_wings::boom: Jump in now and start winning big!

@admin.hackathon

You can have fun and not submit to the hackathon, and that’s okay. However, submitting this idea to a hackathon—especially under the premise of creating a legitimate marketplace—risks not only your reputation but also the hackathon’s credibility. Just clarifying, it will be hard for your project to win with this brand idea.

Although you can change it later, the approach of using their assets—even temporarily—poses significant legal and ethical risks. If it’s not a betting site and non-profit it is okay

I give you eg, what if I used some religious trademark and used it for my gambling site, including the leader’s face too (which is exactly what you’re doing by using their assets for a betting site)? The same principle applies here: borrowing heavily from someone else’s intellectual property can jeopardize your project’s integrity and sustainability.

Especially big companies like Supercell prioritize their intellectual property and brand image, and they often take swift action to protect it.

Launching a project that relies on existing brands raises questions about your project’s authenticity and ethics. If the core concept is built around appropriated assets, how can you assure potential users and investors that this project will maintain integrity and originality in the future?

Hey @Genz210, I think you’re over-dramatizing the issue a bit here. The core concept of our product revolves around the idea of Brawls (which, in simple terms, means a fight)—a theme central to what we’re building. Essentially, we’re creating a much more gamified version of Polymarket and Drift Protocol, designed to be user-friendly and to attract more users to Tron and BTT.

To clarify, the comparison with Supercell is a bit of a stretch. What we’re building and their product are two completely different things. Our focus is on creating a prediction marketplace where two teams ‘brawl’ for rewards. The use of the brawl icon, with red and blue colors, aligns perfectly with our theme. When you think about fights or competitions, red vs. blue is a natural choice—just search for ‘versus image’ on Google, and you’ll see a similar color scheme. That doesn’t mean we’re copying any brand idea; it’s a widely used design motif, especially in competitive products.

As a team of two developers, we’ve put a lot of effort into everything—from building the platform to designing on Figma. Using a logo that fits the theme shouldn’t automatically raise concerns about credibility, just because another game happens to use similar colors. Our project (on-chain prediction marketplace) is completely original in its core concept and purpose (which can’t be compared to a shooting game :joy:), and we’re confident it stands on its own merits.

@admin.hackathon

Whether we win or not, I’ll leave up to the judges, but I’m confident in our project’s potential! :rocket: Similar products like Polymarket (with $472.87M monthly volume) and Drift (which raised $25M) are generating massive hype. These platforms are attracting serious investor interest, and we believe a similar, in-house product backed by Tron DAO makes perfect sense on one of the largest consumer chains.

What sets us apart is gamification—we’ve made the experience fun and engaging by introducing BRAWLS, our in-game currency, to drive adoption among both Web3 and Web2 users. :video_game::boom: Plus, our clever $BRAWLS tokenomics ensures real value behind the currency, encouraging long-term participation.

By fixing key issues in existing prediction platforms—like lack of engagement and poor user experience—we’re building something that’s not just a market fit, but ready to thrive. With Tron DAO’s support, we can take this to the next level. :fire::dart:

@admin.hackathon @SimbadMarino

P.S. With the support of the DAO, we will definitely secure a designer who will do a better job than us developers to create the logo that you’ve been so concerned about. It’s disheartening to see you questioning our project’s authenticity and credibility without any valid basis. It feels like you might be undermining other projects to elevate your own, which is not the way to foster a healthy competition. I urge you to thoroughly test our product from start to finish before making any judgments. Please refrain from casting doubts on other submissions as well without genuinely understanding the core of their offerings. Let’s ensure our competition remains constructive and respectful :handshake:

@admin.hackathon @SimbadMarino

Polymarket and drift werent stealing brand idea.

Dude you are using existing BRAND even your twitter and this profile picture, using BRAWL STARS asset too. Although they upgrade it multiple times, if i show this brawl stars community. You can get a lot of reports too bcause using their fav game to promote betting site or potential scamming players too for $BRAWLS token

I even didnt say anything about the color of “versus image” you were talking about. So why are you feel insecure with this now? Because it similar to brawl ranked too? Making it obvious about copying the brand idea

Even you are using one of the BRAWLER “Colt” in you site. So what exactly original design you rambling about? Red and blue of what? It is exact obvious from the name and asset.

will your project works without naming it into BRAWLS and using iconic brand name or asset? If yes, then why are you using it?

There are many project with 1 dev and do full design without the need to copy brand idea
@admin.hackathon can just type brawl stars ranked in google and will know

BRAWLS is a generic English term, and I can’t control how it’s used in other games. So, I don’t see why I should have to rename our project (if I am able to get a domain name for it atleast :upside_down_face:). If you’re concerned that I’m using the Brawls Stars game logo for my MVP because I liked it, then let me clarify: I will create a new logo.

It’s important to note that we have build and what you are referring to are entirely different spaces with no overlap or synergy @admin.hackathon. However, if the logo is such a major issue for you, I will prioritize creating a new one and replacing it everywhere.

Let’s remember that this is an MVP for this hackathon, not a finished product. We’re still in the early stages, developing our idea and building it out. I have plenty of other important tasks to focus on, like creating a presentable feature pipeline, developing a detailed roadmap, and planning our tokenomics to pitch to others.

If you want me to address the logo first, I will do that. I’m willing to create a new logo to resolve this issue.

As for your concerns about copying a brand idea, I’m not aware of what you’re referring to. We started with a simple tailwind design template (with red-blue and orange-green/purple as eventual core design colors around which the ui will be build, eventually selected red-blue), and the initial logo was just half red and half blue. I googled and found brawls logo which looked much better and thought of using it in our MVP but again if this is such a big issue I will create a new logo first things first and will remove assets for which I can face copyright for using in MVP :sweat_smile: . Let’s work together constructively instead of focusing on misunderstandings.

@admin.hackathon

Brawls_Logo

Here’s the new logo for our submission.

Also, here’s the updated loader as well ( for now, I will find some better free to use gifs that have colors relating to our theme in some time )

Prev Loader was

This should resolve your issue now @Genz210. I hope I won’t get any copyright issues now :upside_down_face: and I believe all other assets are legally clear. Cheers! Now, back to focusing on the core features.

@admin.hackathon

P.S. Will push these changes to stage in some time.

Thanks for the warm welcome! :tada: Moderating user-created brawls is something we take seriously to ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of the platform. Initially, we’ll rely on community-driven moderation with a reporting system where users can flag inappropriate or misleading brawls. From there, our team will review flagged brawls and take appropriate action, which could include removing the brawl or penalizing the creator if they’ve violated our guidelines.

As we scale, we plan to integrate automated checks (probably using a RAG pipeline), reducing the need for manual oversight. At the same time, human arbitration will always be in place for more complex, nuanced cases that need a closer look. :mag: This hybrid approach will help keep the platform transparent, fair, and fun for all users. :muscle:

Thank you for the warm welcome to the Grand Hackathon! :star2: Regulatory compliance is a top priority for us, especially in the prediction market space. To ensure we’re on the right path, we’re proactively researching similar products and studying how they navigate the regulatory landscapes in various jurisdictions where we plan to operate.

As we grow, we will continue to monitor regulatory changes and adapt accordingly to ensure that our platform remains compliant and sustainable. :balance_scale:

Hello @Chukseucharia , sorry your question got missed.

The entire data is loaded from our DB to on-chain at regular intervals that the DB data is not tampered with. This way of first loading data into DB only ensures that the user will have a smooth user experience while predicting.
Gradually we also plan to introduce multiple working backend nodes to load data into multiple DBs and then doing a checksum calculation before offloading to on-chain. This will ensure that we have correct data getting on chain

I have few Question about Your Project:

What features will make your user interface better than other prediction markets?

What are the benefits of using BRAWLS over BTT for betting?

Your response outlines a solid hybrid approach and this is critical for maintaining the integrity of a prediction marketplace, especially as you scale.
For dispute resolution, would there be an option for users to appeal decisions, or will decisions be final after human review?

I agree with @Genz210, how can this project take a place in TRON Hackathon by using many contents and images from Brawl Stars × Supercell

I hope you are not planning to take this project as eligible. I don’t think Supercell would show tolerance for that action!

Hi @leohymon,

As addressed in this thread, we initially used two assets (a GIF for our loading screen and a PNG) relating to app you’re referring to, as they fit our theme. However, this issue has already been resolved, and we have replaced those images with open-source alternatives. :pray: You’re absolutely right — we should have checked the licensing of the images before using them, and I sincerely apologize for that oversight.

Please review the entire thread before questioning the project’s eligibility. You mentioned many contents and images—I’d love to know exactly which ones you’re referring to. So if there are so many more, please enlighten us. Thanks for your understanding!

What sets us apart is gamification. We’ve designed Brawl Champions to feel more engaging and interactive than traditional prediction markets by introducing levels, experience points, and rewards. Users aren’t just placing bets—they’re progressing through a game-like experience, unlocking new features and creating their own brawls as they level up.

BRAWLS is our in-game currency, designed to lower the barrier for new users who might not have BTT or are hesitant to spend crypto initially and to drive adoption among both Web3 and Web2 users.

Once we add liquidity for BRAWLS on the blockchain, users will be able to redeem their in-game currency for $BRAWL tokens, offering a real-world value for their engagement and activity in the platform.

BRAWLS is more than just a token—it’s a way to onboard, engage, and reward users as they explore the platform.

Thank you for recognizing the importance of our hybrid approach! :star2:

Hmm interesting :thinking:. Currently, for dispute resolution, users will have the option to appeal decisions. When a user files a dispute, the Brawl Champions team thoroughly reviews the details of the brawl and provides a fair and transparent resolution. However, now that you’ve mentioned it, if users wish to challenge the decision further, we can introduce a second phase where a community-driven review mechanism—comprised of trusted users or stakeholders—can re-evaluate the dispute to provide a final resolution. Thanks for the valuable insight!
