:tada: Exciting update: The provider for crypto assets price has been changed! !

  • The new provider is CoinCap!

    CoinCap
    CoinCap is a useful tool for real-time pricing and market activity for over 1,000 cryptocurrencies. By collecting exchange data from thousands of markets, we are able to offer transparent and accurate data on asset price and availability.

:grey_question: Why the change?

  • CoinCap’s API rate limits are 15x+ greater than our old provider, Coingecko.
    That ensures uninterrupted access to price data without blocking.

Users can now make price forecasts using both native coin (BTT) and ERC20 tokens.

Great project team!!

Although I have a query. Eince you dependent on Band protocol for prices. You only be able to add a few tokens for price forcasting. Do you have any plans to overcome this?

Yes, since Band Protocol is a decentralized oracle, price data is not available for all tokens. There are several ways to expand the number of available tokens:

  1. Contact the BandChain team and request a new data feed;
  2. Integrate other existing oracle providers that support the BTTC network;
  3. Contact other oracle providers that do not yet support the BTTC network and request to add this network.
