The goal of InterPool is actually to include several sports, starting with the most popular ones, in order to get more users. More people participate, higher will be the prizepool for the participants themselves.
As the World cup is happening, our first prediction game will of course focus on this competition.
@Perrin will detail all the security aspects in a separate answer.

Regarding the security matter that you highlight, it is of course a key aspect that we keep in mind at any time, while developing our protocol.
The first answer, which is valid for every blockchain projects is Transparency. Our contract is of course open source, and auditable by anyone at anytime. We have added a lot of comment in our code in order to make it understandable by everyone.
And of course Code is Law.
The second point, is that we use reliable sources for our project. We use Aave as a Liquidity Provider to generate interests (currently on Ethereum, later on weāll use JustLend on Tron). Aave has a TVL of $5.2b, is a reference in the ecosystem, and has never been hacked.
We have followed all the Open Zeppelin standards to write our contract (access control, ownable, ERC20 ā¦) and Chainlink client.
All the minting/burning rules have been written following the standards also. Only user can mint or burn Tickets in exchange of USDC (USDD later on with TRON), and we have no possibility to do so on their behalf.
Third point. Majority of hacks are related to bridges, swap protocols or DAO. In our case, interactions with the Liquidity Provider doesnāt work this way. It is a one to one conversion with no possibility of depeg (or flash loan exploit). There no possible manipulation of the exchange rate.
We keep ourself up to date with all the latest hacks (https://rekt.news/ is a good one for example)
The final point. We will have to go through Third party security audits, prior going live on any mainnet. As of now we deployed it on the Ethereum Testnet.

The deposit is locked during the full contest period, in order to generate consequent interests for the prizepool. For this first contest, we will include all the games from the group phase (November 20th until December 2nd). The completion of the last game of the group phase will therefore close the contest, and the rewards will be distributed right after that.
We are going to set the second contest for the knockout stage.
As long as the participants do not withdraw their funds they are eligible to enter the next Prediction contests.

Update regarding InterPool conversion to TRON:
We are currently competing in the Ecosystem Track, with a strong belief that deploying on various networks will benefit to all the users, as there will be more fund deposited on the protocol.
A key advantage on deploying on TRON next, is that the interests rate on USDD is higher than other stablecoins anywhere else (currently 7,11% on JustLend). InterPool prizepool will therefore be higher, it will get more attention, and ultimately more participants.
Update 1: Oracle update.
We are currently using Chainlink, as a data provider, and it will have to be updated to Winklink
Update 2: Interest generation.
We are currently using Aave as liquidity provider, and we will update it to JustLend

Glad youāve eventually decided to deploy on Tron as well. With wink casino closing doors, gamblers on Tron were left with not many options. I advise you to make some marketing campaign not only in English but also in Chinese. Gambling is appreciated in Chinese-speaking countries, especially during the Chinese New Year (jan-feb). Having your platform in both languages might help getting traction.
