Invitación a creadores de proyectos de este s4

Thank you for sharing your roadmap with me :clap::clap: It’s clear you have a well thought-out plan in place for your project. I appreciate that you have already released the installation process for your wallet and are working on educating the beginners through your story.

It’s also great to see that you have set a timeline for showcasing protocols on the mainnet to commence from June 2023, with the intention of introducing new protocols in a second phase.

Good luck with your project and with your participation in the S4 Hackathon :raised_hands:

We can reduce the minimum renting threshold, but we need to balance it with the capability to pay the transaction fees for low value rents.

Ergon provides an exact preview of the costs, just click on the “BORROW” button to see them before submitting the transaction:

The jackpot is made with 25% of the energy sales revenue. The jackpot is reserved only to USTX holders (only USTX staked count) and allow to reach a total 100% share of the energy sales.

To give the users the possibility for early withdraw, we’ll open a liquidity pool on JustMoney. Whenever possible we like to use existing solutions (best if community oriented) to solve a problem. Users will be able to exchange ERG and TRX on the DEX without any lock.

Hello @Antonio,

Thank you for your questions regarding SWIRL.

Here are my responses to your questions:

  1. Briefly explain your project.

SWIRL is a web3 advertisement platform that leverages blockchain technology to provide a more secure, transparent, and efficient platform for advertising. The platform aims to benefit both advertisers and users by offering real-time data analytics, rewards for user engagement with ads, and increased data security and privacy. SWIRL could be used by a wide range of individuals and businesses involved in advertising, including small to large enterprises, entrepreneurs, digital marketers, and content creators. Looking ahead, SWIRL could potentially integrate with other web3 technologies, such as NFTs or DeFi protocols, to offer even more innovative advertising solutions.

  1. Who is it for?

SWIRL could benefit a wide range of users in the advertising industry, including businesses of all sizes, marketers, content creators, and entrepreneurs. The platform is particularly suited for those who want to leverage the security and transparency of blockchain technology to advertise their products and services. Additionally, SWIRL could appeal to users interested in earning cryptocurrency or other incentives for interacting with ads. (Which is our secondary milestone for leveraging our platform).

  1. How will it benefit users?

SWIRL could benefit users in several ways. Advertisers could benefit from the platform’s transparent and secure nature, enabling them to track their ad spend and optimize their campaigns in real-time. Additionally, users who view the ads could potentially benefit from rewards in the form of cryptocurrency or other incentives, thereby incentivizing them to engage with the ads. By utilizing blockchain technology, SWIRL is primarily made to protect users’ data and privacy.

  1. What’s next?

Looking ahead, SWIRL could consider expanding its platform to include more features and services for users. This could include integrating with other web3 technologies, such as NFTs or DeFi protocols, to offer even more innovative advertising solutions. Additionally, the platform could explore new revenue streams, such as offering consulting services to businesses on improving their advertising strategies using blockchain technology. Ultimately, SWIRL has the potential to revolutionize the advertising industry by providing a more secure, transparent, and efficient platform for advertising.

Thank you for your interest in SWIRL. We are still keeping up the efforts to make it one of the best advertising platforms. :crossed_fingers:

That sounds great :clap::clap:

Okay, I will have to click the “BORROW” button before I will see how much it would cost me to rent energy from your platform. That’s fair though but I question the user satisfaction this could bring because it will be time consuming to the renters. Imagine someone rented 1,000,000 at the rate of 133 for 3 days, and maybe the person comes back after the 3 days to rent another energy for his transactions and this time, the price has increased to, let’s say 145. In your scenario, such person will have to click the “BORROW” before he could see that there has been a price difference from what he paid the last time. But with TronNrg interface, the renter will see the price difference from same interface without having to click any button before he could see what it will cost him to purchase the energy he need. I believe it will help improve user’s satisfaction and reduce time consumption for renting energy in your platform, if you could bring this feature to your platform.

From the image you attached to your response, I understand “Rent” price but I’m not sure if I understood what the system means by “Deposit.” Can you please explain this to me?

And one last question for you, do the users have to pay for the cost of buying energy in your platform and your smart contract pay the energy fees of purchasing energy from your platform.

Ergon price depends on many parameters (duration, utilization rate, time between trades and the user USTX holdings), it’s not a simple constant number. Anyway, I take your suggestion and try to improve.

Regarding the “Deposit” question, if you want to become an energy supplier in Ergon you need to deposit TRX in the platform, since all resource delegation happens inside the smart contract. The user deposits TRX and gets ERG in return. ERG value will increase over time thanks to the energy sales and voting rewards.

The energy fees for renting are paid by the contract (free for the user) up to 500,000 energy orders. For bigger amounts, the user needs to pay the fees.

Ohh! Thanks for your response though something seems to be missing.

From the attached image, there are three prices listed: Rent price, Deposit and Total.

While I understand Total price to be the sum of “Rent price” and “Deposit”, what is the Rent price and Deposit for?
And which of the prices is someone renting the 1,000,000 energy paying for: The Rent price, or the Deposit Price, or the Total price (which in this case, is the total sum of Rent and Deposit prices)?

The rent price is the cost of the energy for the selected amount and duration. When the order expires (after 3 days in this example) the energy is returned to the Ergon contract. But in TRON stake 2.0 the amount of energy returned can vary from 0 to the full amount. As you know energy recovers over a period of 12 hours currently, so if the users does not make any transaction in the 12 hours before the expiration, the energy will be recovered and will return fully to the contract, otherwise only a part of it will return. The deposit is needed to account for that variation.
Getting back to your example, the users rents 1M for 3 days and pays 177.8 TRX (133.4 + 44.4) at the beginning of the rent. At expiration if the energy is fully recovered he’ll get back the full deposit (44.4 TRX), otherwise a part of it will be held, corresponding to the unrecovered energy portion.

Following your suggestion we have reduced the minimum energy threshold to 200,000. We’ll monitor the system performance and might reduce it further.

Every energy order up to 500,000 does not pay the transaction fees.
