Is the hackathon a fair contest?

thanks for your answer - i hope justrugnft does well

I think competition is always good. Equality between projects forces the new ones to make an effort and demonstrate to the community that they have the opportunity to develop in the future

Clearly it’s really not fair

I think that old projects should be rewarded through grants program, not from hackathons. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to judge when there is some old project and judges need to judge only some part of it

well these is expected, old projects will always compete, but how should we make it fair for all?

This is a great platform and a nice one

wow you have spoken so well and i really understand everything perfectly

This looks very interesting indeed

I’m surely agreed with you. It’s great

I wish Trondao to hire the group that consistently develops new initiatives and adds to the Tron Ecosystem. This should be their greatest reward. In this manner, the team won’t devote any time to hackathon debates and will only concentrate on creating and delivering.

Even though none of this is something I anticipate happening, ultimately, it is up to trondao to decide what is right or wrong.

Old projects will always compete und should be able to in the spirit of open competition. You could think about adding a “newcommer” price but i dont know how hard it would the to enforce that.

you’ve said it all boss

If they get exposure.

It will be really good

2 years topic besides I want to answer. I checked almost all hackathons in close time. Yes, I think all of them are fair enough and it looks it will be continue to be fair. With my all respect
