Two things to note:
1- the voting results are not final, yet. The forum admins will do a clean up, so positions can still change
2- the DevPost awards are not related to the votes here. In S2 most of the winners on devpost where not among the community winners, so there’s still a chance for all the eligible projects to win the big prizes.
infact what I said is that the final result can be changed based on admin evaluation and Devpost is a new challenge
S2 was very heartbreaking as none of the community winners was among the choices of the devpost. It was quite strange.
But as you said, with devpost any qualified project has the chance to win the big prize, and the votes in the community forum does not decide the outcome of the devpost.
Also by 16th we will know the real winners of the community forum as more cleanup will be done to remove all votes that were fake.
