In the new user registration there’s both no option for you to be able to view the password you’re entering for your account neither is there an additional field to input said password twice, so a typo can come in as one’s password and he won’t be aware till after Password creation.
There should be a field for verify password at least during account creation

Yeah it saves it, remembering your passwords isn’t the issue, it’s that you can have a typo as your password as you can’t see what you’re filling in nor can you double check it
