Octan Network is a game-changing data analytics provider in the Web3 space, which has been recognized with numerous awards in the Blockchain and Crypto industry.

Our unique, innovative Reputation Ranking System (RRS), inspired by Google’s PageRank, provides reputation and credit scores for accounts across chains and applications. By qualifying, classifying, evaluating, and extracting social insights from Web3 entities, our system provides the best quality analytics and the most reliable data from onchain transactions.

I had a few questions after looking over your post:

  1. How does Octan Network ensure the accuracy and reliability of its data analytics, and what steps does it take to maintain its data quality?

  2. Can you discuss any partnerships or collaborations that Octan Network has formed with other companies or organizations in the Web3 space, and how these partnerships contribute to the company’s success?

Thank you for your interest in Octan Network. We are pleased to address any questions you may have.

  1. Octan conducts experiments on large datasets, such as the BSC network, with customized timeframes to measure activity and effectiveness. For example, we discovered that Hooked Protocol (HOOK) had the highest RS on the BNB during its IDO period, and wallets interacting with HOOK experienced significant RS gains. We provide a validation report with every data processing and calculation to maintain quality.
    To ensure reliability, Octan applies advanced pairwise ranking algorithms (adaptive & personalized Pagerank, HodgeRank) and improve them to adapt with Web3 space. This involves practical implementation, user feedback through features such as rating and reporting, and evaluating scoring systems based on performance indices while providing data analytics services to clients. For instance, when classifying addresses for an airdrop campaign, we assess whether the wallets receiving the airdrops continue to interact with the token contract over a given period.

  2. Octan is currently in discussions with various partnerships and collaborations, including Trustkeys Network (Socialfi), YGG (Gamefi), Derivable (Defi), and especially Konami - with a focus on providing the RS system for their NFT marketplace. To demonstrate the importance of our services in market research and targeted marketing, we offer complimentary services to classify web3 entities and analyze data for our partners. After this initial step, partners will receive a business account that allows them to view dashboard analyses similar to Nansen’s, but with a focus on social insight and user personas in web3. These analyses will help us determine the appropriate pricing model and subscription plan.

Trust and credibility is very crucial in a decentralized world.

My question is in the cause of ranking these projects, what does it mean when a project has lowest rank. Does it mean the project is not to be trusted and hence not credible.

Does projects apply to your system to be ranked or once OCTAN is on tron, it means every dapp on tron will automatically be evaluated and ranked.

Can you please shed more light on it for me.

thanks for your question. You are all right. Octan Reputation Ranking System takes all public addresses and their transactions into account. It learns and analyzes interrelationship between all accounts, hence evaluating their importance and social insights in Web3 graph. Octan Reputation Ranking System evaluates reputation scores of both contracts (thus, dapps) and individual wallets.

Thank you for sharing. Trust is an important research product. Am happy to see this coming out. For your roadmap going forward, I see the tasks to do, but can you please share the story for more generally what you are trying to in Q3 and Q4?
