RevoluTRON - An interactive novel to onboard Web2 users to Web3 (by Irruption Lab)

Will do. It’s a bit last minute so hoping to get a good mix of current TRON games, past HackaTRON participants and new S4 participants. May have to bump to next week if the timing doesn’t work for a majority of the projects. Stay tuned.

This is an innovative idea to aware the people about web3 and make them understand that progress and development are not scary but even more secure and helpful for the entire society.

Thank you for your nice comment!

Our goal is to onboard newcomers with chapters 1 and 2, while also enticing those already in the web3 ecosystem to discover new protocols through the story in chapter 3.

Hello everyone!

As you’ve shown interest in our project RevoluTRON, I would like to get your opinion on the following options we are considering. The main goal of this app is to educate and onboard Web2 users to Web3. We do not aim to decide for newcomers which blockchain is the best; we want to remain agnostic.

We have already developed Chapters 1 and 2 (partially) for a first version using Metamask, which is BTTC-compatible. However, we are torn between keeping Metamask as the base case to connect to the app, which will allow exploration of a larger variety of protocols and EVM-compatible chains for educational purposes, or using TronLink as the base case in our app.

The rules of the hackathon apparently accept both options, but I’m really interested in your opinion to help us select one option or the other.

Thanks a lot!

In nutshell,. I will
Prefer Tronlink Pro wallet

Personalmente tengo las dos billeteras y en Metamask tengo la red de BTTC, como consejo personal Metamask no me gusta e intento utilizarla lo mínimo, siempre uso Tronlink, par el usuario que empieza a mi parecer es más sencilla de usar.

personally I like using tron link wallet than using metamask.
as @antonio said for beginners tronlink will be easy for them as compare to metamask

As far Tron is existing for the now.
It’s TRON LINK WALLET over Metamask wallet.

East to navigate
User friendly.

Few times I tried using metamask.
I had to watch alots of YouTube video to understand

Personally I make use of both wallets with ease but new users may find it difficult, as we are in support and mission for mass adoption let’s go with Tronlink wallet, thank you

Thank you for reaching out to me for my opinion on the two options you are considering for the base case of your app. I can see how this decision could have a significant impact on the educational value and usability of the app.

Given the goal of educating and onboarding Web2 users to Web3, it is important to consider which base case would be more accessible and user-friendly for newcomers. While Metamask may allow for exploration of a larger variety of protocols and EVM-compatible chains, it may also be more complex and difficult to navigate for users who are unfamiliar with Web3 concepts and technologies.

On the other hand, TronLink may offer a simpler and more streamlined user experience, which could be beneficial for newcomers who are just starting to explore Web3. However, it’s important to ensure that using TronLink as the base case does not limit the educational value of the app or create any unintentional biases towards the Tron blockchain.

Ultimately, the decision should be based on a careful consideration of both the educational and usability implications of each option, as well as any potential limitations or biases that may arise. I hope this helps provide some guidance, and I look forward to seeing how the “Revolutron” project progresses!
