Project Goal:

Our project aims to:

  1. Reward Engagement: Provide a unique token, SATs (BitTorrent), to reward users for their participation and engagement across various platforms. This encourages loyal fans and followers to stay connected and engaged with content creators and each other.

  2. Educate on Blockchain: Introduce and educate users about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies in a practical, non-financial context. By rewarding engagement with tokens, users can learn about the functionality and benefits of blockchain in a hands-on way.

  3. Promote Peer-to-Peer Interaction: Foster a decentralized community where users can interact directly with each other, tipping or rewarding peers for various activities and engagements, without financial transactions being the primary focus.

  4. Increase Blockchain Adoption: Encourage the use of blockchain technology in everyday activities and demonstrate its utility beyond financial investments. By integrating with platforms like Staqe.app and leveraging decentralized exchanges, the project aims to make blockchain more accessible and practical for everyday users.

  5. Establish Partnerships: Form strategic partnerships with blockchain educational projects, decentralized exchanges, and social media groups to expand the reach and impact of the SATs (BitTorrent) token, facilitating broader adoption and integration into various platforms.

  6. Ensure Security and Transparency: Maintain high standards of security and transparency through regular audits, compliance measures, and user education on safe practices within the blockchain ecosystem.

  7. Create Multi-Chain Functionality: Explore and implement multi-chain functionality to allow users to utilize SATs tokens across different blockchain networks, increasing the token’s utility and accessibility.

Project Value:

1. Decentralization and Trustless Environment

Benefit:

  • Security and Transparency: Blockchain’s decentralized nature ensures that no single entity has control over the data, enhancing security and transparency. Transactions and interactions can be independently verified by all participants.
  • Trustless Transactions: Users can engage in transactions without needing to trust a central authority, reducing the risk of fraud and manipulation.

Relevance:

  • The decentralized nature aligns perfectly with the peer-to-peer rewards system of SATs (BitTorrent), providing a trustworthy and transparent environment for rewarding users.

2. Immutable and Verifiable Records

Benefit:

  • Permanent Record Keeping: All transactions and interactions are recorded on the blockchain, creating an immutable ledger that ensures data integrity and transparency.
  • Verifiability: Users can independently verify the authenticity and history of their transactions, enhancing trust within the community.

Relevance:

  • This feature is crucial for ensuring that reward distributions and staking records are transparent and cannot be tampered with, fostering trust among users.

3. Lower Transaction Costs

Benefit:

  • Reduced Fees: Blockchain technology, especially when built on platforms with low transaction costs like BitTorrent, ensures that users can make transactions at a fraction of the cost compared to traditional financial systems.
  • Microtransactions: Enables the viability of small transactions, making it feasible to reward users for minor engagements and interactions.

Relevance:

  • This aligns with the project’s goal of providing cost-effective and frequent rewards to users, making participation more attractive and accessible.

4. Enhanced Security

Benefit:

  • Cryptographic Security: Blockchain transactions are secured using cryptographic techniques, making it extremely difficult for malicious actors to alter data or steal funds.
  • Smart Contract Security: Smart contracts automate processes securely, reducing the risk of human error and fraud.

Relevance:

  • The integration of secure smart contracts for staking and reward distribution ensures that users’ assets and rewards are safe, promoting confidence in the system.

5. Global Accessibility

Benefit:

  • Borderless Transactions: Blockchain allows for seamless transactions across borders without the need for intermediaries, enabling global participation.
  • Inclusivity: Users from different parts of the world can join and benefit from the SATs (BitTorrent) ecosystem without geographical limitations.

Relevance:

  • This is critical for expanding the user base and engaging a global audience, ensuring that anyone with internet access can participate and earn rewards.

6. Programmable Money and Smart Contracts

Benefit:

  • Automation: Smart contracts enable automated and conditional transactions, ensuring that rewards and staking mechanisms operate efficiently and without manual intervention.
  • Customization: They allow for the creation of complex reward structures and staking mechanisms tailored to the community’s needs.

Relevance:

  • The use of smart contracts simplifies the reward distribution process and ensures fairness and accuracy, enhancing user experience and trust.

7. Enhanced Community Engagement

Benefit:

  • Tokenization of Rewards: By tokenizing rewards, users are more likely to engage with the ecosystem, as they can see tangible benefits from their participation.
  • Governance Participation: Token holders can participate in governance, influencing the project’s direction and fostering a sense of community ownership.

Relevance:

  • Token-based rewards encourage more active participation and engagement, aligning with the project’s mission to value and appreciate its user base.

8. Interoperability and Integration Potential

Benefit:

  • Multi-Chain Capabilities: Blockchain technology can facilitate the interoperability of SATs (BitTorrent) across multiple blockchain platforms, enhancing its utility and reach.

Good to have you as the first HackaTron S7 project submission. This will give you the opportunity to gain users awareness and interest in your project though you’re a known name in the forum

While reading your post, one question kept popping my mind which is; how are users going to support content creators through your project to earn rewards. Like, what exactly will their engagement be to stand eligible for the rewards. It is going to be just like Twitter’s like and repost of contents? And which social media platforms are you going to integrate to your platform for this value distributions?

i can only make the best exmaole with twiiter and telegram. but for other social media it would require manual usege by asking to drop the wallets in the comments.
Twitter - remember twitter is intergrated with a tip funiction that allow anyone to tip you if you have an EVM wallet set on your profile, so in most cases that would make it easy for users that have a tip wallet on twitter or like i said the manual way ask users to comment with their wallets.
Telegram - would work if we have our token whitelisted on TipBot or create a toptic where users can leave their wallet for airdrops.

Yes the project does require alot of attention based on manual distribution in some cases but also open the ability to interact with users, we are not in the in the business to create such but open to collaborate with projects that are doing so.

rewards are given through interacting, commenting, taking part in tasks which we don’t have beside staking on staqe App.
So you as a content creator can choose what you want to give rewards for which would be based on what they hold or what your from the pool. the isn’t a restriction on how to earn or what to earn for.

Hello Buddy, welcome to the session. Love your courage to submit first. Kudos. Big step into the builders Track.
I have the following observation, comments and questions about your project.

  1. Your name ring a bell here. Please share us some brief update on your previous projects.

Currently, none of the website or link are reachable

  1. Now let me drive into Stat(Bitorrent).
First your website is nice. Your presentation pdf is simple enough to understand. But for clarity I will ask the following.
  • As part of you Challenges:- do you see community building from your region as big deal?

  • Your token will be capped at 2,100,000,000,000,000. And will offer staking reward for users who stole $WBTT to earn $STATS. My concern is, How about the liquidity and funding?

  • Please explain the concept of NFT to enhance reward for user engagement?

At the end of your pdf, I read you having a 5-year plan. Good luck mate.

Welcome to tron hackathon season 7. Your project looks quite interesting. I read something about crypto education and i would love to know how you aim to achieve that and secondly if you could have a video to tutorial on how to get wbttc to the whole staking process it would be of help to intending users.

Yes, the 5-year plan is to roll out the token. It can be done sooner, but what can’t be achieved is attracting new users who don’t understand crypto and blockchain beyond viewing them as financial entities.

The NFT isn’t really a priority; it was created for those who want to earn more tokens, but minting one is not necessary.

Community building in my region isn’t a big deal. Most people here prefer to leave their funds in exchanges rather than in self-custody. They are more interested in gains and selling strategies. Expanding outside my region would be a great advantage.

So, the previous projects require:

  1. Web3 space, a fiscal license, and registration as an entity.
  2. blockchain academy registered tutors also a fiscal & education license. In my region, most people believe blockchain is a passing phase. It must also go 1 year without operating.

Not sure i unstand this correctly?
‘Your token will be capped at 2,100,000,000,000,000. And will offer staking reward for users who stole $WBTT to earn $STATS. My concern is, How about the liquidity and funding?’

Hello

If I can give an advice, is to try to keep the presentation post shorter by removing what can be seen as superficial/non-essential. Generally speaking, people don’t focus long enough to go through long texts anymore, especially in crypto :grimacing:

I see that you are in builder track and wanted to check the previous entry but couldn’t find one. What’s the link of your previous participation with SATs? Were you using a different name maybe?

@WindsOfChange92 @admin.hackathon @SimbadMarino
In the post template, you could add a line “if you are applying in the builder track, please add the link(s) of the previous application(s)”.
That will save time to users who want to check what has been accomplished since the past season(s) projects have participated in.

Ah yes please, I totally agree with @fabsltsa, sometimes owner of the project changes the name in new season so I don’t wanna always go to user profile and check topics. It’ll definitely save time for most of us.

Brilliant super suggestion Fabs, could be something like Must Field to be filled. Easy way to track pas performance of a project.

First off, congrats to being the first entry in the forum. You may not be aware, but a guess for fun thing was ongoing moments ago on the track the first project would fall into and quite fortunately a few community did say the builder track.

Now moving forward, thanks for outrightly sharing a guide on how to add the BTTC network on EVM. I see this aims to incentivize user engagement, educate users about blockchain, promote peer-to-peer interactions, and increase blockchain adoption, which is the most ideal solution in the Web3 ecosystem.

But quite frankly, I see some adoption barriers here, how would you deal with convincing non-crypto users to adopt and engage with the platform?
In my opinion, that may be really challenging.

Welcome to Grand hackathon S7
Welcome as No 1 hackathon submitter too
Hehe it’s been a long read though but my question is more centered on reward engagement,
it’s sounding more like socialFi , please in simple terms i want to know how these points would be measured to reward users accurately, secondly would the activities or engagement be measured through telegram, Twitter or wallet address?

About the staking; is it live already or still working on it?

Yes basically find a platform that offers a simple intro into crypto & blockchain, like teach people the basics, of what blockcahin can be used for, what is a wallet, how to create one etc. Yes i will create a video on whre to get WBTT

Its is challenging and so is it challenging to get someone to intrust most crypto with their money. So thats why the approach on create a token that doesn’t offer any investment.
One can learn how crytpo works without any finacial losses,
One can learn how the blockchain work, how to use a wallet etc.
Just the basic, so would one want to invest in any other token they would how the basic work what to look for.

the simplest way would be using the token to bet on live stream gaming. there would be any losses or gain but it would be fun and content creator can create task on how to earn the token.

and for those who want to earn the BTT token can advise to the BTFS or the BitTorrent desktop app

the point will determind by the person who offers the token as a reward apart from the staqe pool, if you see it as socilfi you looking at it with a glass half empty.

engagement can be measured in all 3 but wallet would make it easy as different parties use the token one would need to look at their sent data to know who they sent token too.

the staking is live.

Am sorry I might draw you back, you mean as I transact more with my wallet address I will get rewarded? Is that what you mean? Because am still a little bit confused

Sorry, I replied based on the assumption that you are the actual content creator giving rewards. I will also look into whom you have given the rewards to.

So, if you stake, then you would have to claim the rewards from the pool.

Seeing rewards in your wallet consistently would mean you’re getting airdropped from regular usage within a community and your wallet is whitelisted.
