Project Details: [ Our platform solution offers an Artificial Intelligence-based object detection system that utilizes IPFS, Aptos, Livepeer and Tron for real-time DAO tooling, Ethereum and optimism powered solutions for sorting information obtained from a variety of UAV and drone cameras deployed at monitoring spots.

Features:

•Detection : Identifying the UAVs in the video feed using object detection.

•Discovery : Logging the identities of UAVs flying in a particular air space at any instant of time, using exchange of unique identifiers.

•Geo-fencing : Discovering unlawful presence and raising alarms using the detection & discovery data.

•Monitoring : Looking out and reporting incidents based on event detection in visual data.

•Analysis : Analyzing route patterns and incidents.

Have you conducted any pilot studies or tested the system in a real-world setting to determine its feasibility?

Thank you so much for sharing feedback. We have undertaken the initial testing of the proof of concept at NSUT in New Delhi with support from the faculty at the university. We are yet to initiate pilot studies of the software and hardware at this juncture. We were invited by four organizations to collaborate on this effort:

  1. Enzen Consulting for integrated water management in Bengaluru, India.
  2. Niti Aayog: we submitted the initial idea to them and shared the plan for piloting it in Delhi, India. We did submit the initial concept and proof of concept and were given due recognition at Mobility Summit in Delhi.
  3. We were also invited on a paid scholarship for the Drone Olympics in Finland by the Ultrahack team to scale the project further. We could not attend due to unforeseen circumstances. Visa procedures and processing required more time.
  4. We received an entire hardware module kit and a setup from NXP semiconductors to test the viability, end commissioning of nodes using its iot modular gateway along with its special purpose hardware toolkit (zigbee modules, nfc modules). We presented the positive results on the hardware front to them at VLSID research conference in Delhi.

In summary, we are yet to pilot the project but have arrived at a good conclusion on key modules both on the hardware, software and communication (web3) front. We have tested the different modules in our lab at New Delhi, India.

On the same note, we have been provided with 15 embedded laptops (XOs) with mesh network facility to enable simulation/testing in an environment with limited or no internet connectivity. Our advisers enabled us to get the XO devices and we were able to simulate the hardware software communication using the devices for 7-8 software applications.

It’s quite interesting to see you performed the initial testing of the proof of concept in New Delhi, given that India has really been a growing tech hub and massive adoption in web3/crypto resource. Thanks for the clarity, goodluck on your journey.

Such a great initiative. I really love the concept behind this.

One major problem Ghana is facing currently is illegal mining activities that is presently destroying our forests and also turning our rivers into muddy waters destroying aquatic lives.

Ghana uses a drone system to search for bad actors deep in the forest performing these activities. But its very hard to catch them or even identify their faces.

Can your system scan faces of bad actors and tell authorities who they are to help them identify them and place them on wanted list?

Wish to share that scanning faces, recognizing bad actors and telling authorities about them can definitely be extended in our existing solution. Please find a quick demo of the screencast: Mobile-dapp-Screencast - Google Drive
We are able to do object detection using OSS ML libraries.

On the same note, instead of using faces, feet movements (GAIT movements) can be used for uniquely identifying bad actors. Face scanning sometimes yield wrong results especially if the person is wearing a full mask, which generally happens.

Wish to share that I gave a talk about using the GAIT approach way back at RSA Conference. Sharing the abstract of the talk (happy to share the approach pdf if interested): On Friday, December 24, 1999, Indian Airlines Flight 814 was hijacked by a militant group, who ran operations successfully for seven days and ended after India released three militants. They were later held responsible for the Sept. 11 attacks and the killing of a WSJ reporter. The session outlines the entire operation, the causes behind its success and a novel framework to prevent future attacks.

All of the work for this project appears to have already been done before the Season 4 Grand Hackathon. For example, the video submitted in this contest is all already available from this video posted in 2022: www youtube com/watch?v=dk3TQlEsxfo&t=3s

Another example is this smart contract, also from before the contest period.

It appears that this contest entry is ineligible as I don’t see any work actually done in the contest period.

Thank you for your feedback. Appreciate it. Wish to share that the Tron smart contracts were developed before the season 4 grand hackathon. We did discuss with the Tron team and were recommended to apply in builders category. This category of submissions is for existing projects.

We did spend quality time learning how to take Tron contracts from testnet to mainnet; learned a whole new DeFi eco-system (Injective) and integrated the Tron analytics and DAO tools with the DeFi platform and also updated key elements of the tools for tabulation, organization, visualization and analytics.

That said, we are here to learn, contribute and collaborate in the Web3 eco-system. If the judging committee believes that we are not eligible, we are absolutely fine with the decision.

If its in the builders track, then i dont think there is any issue at all. This track is made for old builders who are building ontop of their existing project.
