TBL update seems to be quiet

Hey guys I have been observing to see about the TBL updates or progress but couldn’t see none though I maybe wrong.

Can TBL still outperform Hackathons?

Which one helps onboard new projects and keeping activities running on TronDao, because anything that doesn’t involves community always looks somehow, in everything community matters.

I have a lot to say but I would like everyone to air their views/opinion about the terminated Hackathons and the newly initiated TBL.

same observation bro.

new project keep submiting their project, still no update

old and 0G project submitted their project, still no outcome.

active community members, no more consideration

should hacakathon be brought back or something wrong somewhere

Asking the same bro, what’s your own take,..to go with TBL or bring back Hackathons as usual :thinking:

well TBL was meant to be long terms stuff, but the silence not not show it well

getting back to hackathon, maybe with some form of added rule to screen out weak project,

extra attention to Old/OG project with interest as the keep building.

also active community/contributor member with consideration as before

Good point spotted,.. And also I think TBL is being done in a secret room , which also makes TronDao forum a little bit valueless though I don’t know the right words to qualify it,.. Community also has a role to play too.

At this point I think whatever is going on is going on between the lines, even between the lines there’s still stuffs going on between the lines, that’s how secret and non-performing TBL has become in the open. Few projects I think have said they were given grants privately after a (permit me to say questionable selection) process because the real Tron inclined projects are hissing in the sidelines how that wasn’t fair selection at all (all of this is in the TBL) selection if you can just take the time to scroll through. Compared to Tron hackathon, I think TBL has been a not-so-good test that can’t be cheered as an upgrade of hackathon, it clearly looks like a downgrade. With the boom of AI at the moment, the organizers can open the doors and revert back to hackathon so we can see the influx of projects like AINFT which is now a thing for Tron, that’ll be a fair ground for everyone, just my thoughts, thank you for the chance bro.

Other than that. All the projects keep submiting the same things. Nothing new.

At the beginning of TBL I thought this is better approach for community projects on TRON to receive grants. But with lack of updates from TRON DAO Team publicly has made it a failure according to me. During HackaTRONs the community was highly involved in building projects. HackaTRONs deadlines also made it more exciting. One of the issue with HackaTRONs was I feel was that many inactive projects also won the prize you know like there were some projects who hardly interacted with the community but still won. The judges & projects should be dedicated to TRON & BitTorrent. Anyway if TRON DAO Team still wants to continue TBL they should at least provide regular updates. At this point even a monthly update will be good if not daily/weekly.
