The Kem App is the fastest way to send, spend, and manage your crypto—powered by USDT

Hey @Zane I really wanted to take my time with your presentation to understand it fully and also did a little research. Pardon me, your solution is strikingly like more of a Web2 start-up to me.

Now from my research, I read that Web2 payment solutions like Western Union, MoneyGram, Wise, etc.) already dominate the Gulf market. And also, Local fintech solutions like stc Pay, Careem Pay, and bank-linked e-wallets provide almost the same service, can you reiterate how Kem App is different and a better alternative?

We are a crypto native product. In order to get the next billion people on chain we need to offer a superior user experience to traditional incumbents at a fraction of the price and on chain. Western Union can charge upto 7% on a transaction whereas stablecoin payments are a fraction of a penny.

Hmm, your vision for mass adoption is a good one, I say so cause I see you seek to onboard the next billion users. You took about user experience, so it got me wondering, will you support direct bank withdrawals?

We’ll support direct bank withdrawals and are working towards a virtual IBAN feature later on.

Oh wow, first thing that came to mind is; this is almost like a bridge, unboarding Web2 to Web3. One thing is worthy of note here; you care about user accessibility.

Since you mentioned IBAN, are you working with or plan to work with an EMI or traditional banks?

And another thing, direct bank withdrawal is cool but I personally don’t like traditional banks, I prefer fintechs were everything is hosted online and I don’t have to show up physically, I use Palmpay and Opay, those are massively adopted in my region.
Owing to this fact, how are you going to checkmate their speed, cost, and reliability so it doesn’t affect usability?
