Timeweave - Protecting Unregistered Product Designs with Blockchain

Adding in-app surveys to the feedback collection process is a great way to increase user engagement and get insightful information straight from Timeweave users, would users be able to leave comments anonymously, or would they need to login into their Timeweave accounts in order to do so?

I am satisfied with this response because order than just providing creators with just a transactional hash of their registration, I am equally looking at a scenario where the creators will be presented with a digital certificates in form of NFTs once they register their designs on Timeweave and at a time of conflict, this certificate will be use as prove of ownership of their work. This, Imo, will be generally more acceptable in any legal institution more than just some line of codes found in transaction hash.

Another question that comes to mind is this;
You know that innovations like this always takes time for adoption, how have you prepared for this. Is there any plan to incentivize designers to start registering their works on the Timeweave platform?

Thank you for your suggestion! Adding in-app surveys to collect feedback is indeed a valuable idea for enhancing user engagement and gaining insightful information from our community members. Currently, as we’re in the development phase, we’re considering various features to improve user experience, and integrating in-app surveys is one of them.

Regarding your question about anonymity, we agree that anonymity can encourage more honest and candid feedback. Therefore, we’ll prioritize enabling users to leave comments anonymously if they prefer. However, we’ll also provide the option for users to log in to their Timeweave accounts if they wish to provide feedback with their identity attached.

Your input is valuable to us as we strive to create a platform that meets the needs and preferences of our users. We’ll take your suggestion into account as we continue to refine Timeweave. Thank you for your support!

Thank you for your insightful feedback and thoughtful question. We appreciate your suggestion regarding providing digital certificates in the form of NFTs to creators upon registering their designs on Timeweave. We completely agree that having tangible digital certificates, especially in the form of NFTs, would offer stronger evidence of ownership in potential legal disputes compared to just transactional hashes.

Regarding your question about incentivizing designers to register their works on Timeweave, we’ve considered various strategies to encourage adoption and participation. One potential approach could be to waive commission fees for designers when they first register their works on our platform as a way to incentivize early adoption. Additionally, we’re exploring partnerships with patent companies to help spread awareness of our platform and the benefits of registering designs on Timeweave to a wider audience.

Your input is invaluable as we continue to refine our platform and develop strategies for user adoption. We’re committed to creating a robust and user-friendly platform that meets the needs of creators while providing strong protection for their intellectual property rights. Thank you for your support

Good. In your quest to drive adoption of your platform for designers to register their works, how do you plan on onboarding non English speakers to Timeweave? Do you plan on adding multiple languages on your platform so that users can switch to the language of their choice?

Thanks so much for your question. We think Timeweave should have different language options and we will of course make updates about this in the future. But unfortunately the only language option right now is English. Maybe we will add Turkish too with English. We can select the languages to be added upon request.

Ok thank you for answering. I hope you keep building to make this project one of the best projects on Tron blockchain. Good luck in this season’s hackathon :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :raised_hands:

Thanks for replying, I must commend the way you piece words together, might even aid the blind in comprehension. Now moving forward,
how frequently do you anticipate releasing updates or new features based on user input?

Thank you very much for this kind comment. We will determine the update requirements according to the demands of the users and order the updates to be made. We plan to make these updates step by step. Of course, the number of updates will be determined after Timeweave is released.

Thank you for providing this answers though your first answer didn’t really capture what I intended to know about the project. From my questions I meant that there has been tons of projects released from mischievous developers in an effort to cash hunt from investors. In the case of NFTs, often when investors finished minting those NFTs, the developers will abandone the work and cause some financial loss on its investors. Then I ask to know if there is any strategy to prevent your project from being a tool for these developers to engage in this acts because Imo, investors would always want to put their money in a registered project.

Again, I’m excited to know that you are working with some legal advisors to give this project some legal grounds. Then I will like to know the country your legal advisors are based in and if they will be willing to collaborate with the legal authorities of other regions where your project will be used.

Thank you for bringing up these concerns, and for taking the time to engage with our project. We really appreciate your interest and your questions.

The main goal of this project is actually centered around providing protection. We aim to enable product owners to present evidence using blockchain technology, especially in legal disputes. However, unfortunately, we haven’t been able to devise a foolproof strategy to completely thwart malicious individuals. For instance, if someone were to mimic a product before its creator, and if the owner couldn’t intervene, then these bad actors might still prevail. However, we do have an advantage here. While some websites have been created for such scenarios, they typically operate using web2 technology and in a centralized manner. This means that you can’t always be certain about the reliability of the evidence you upload to these platforms. But with Timeweave, it’s different. We utilize blockchain technology, ensuring the resilience of the evidence provided.

Your insights are invaluable to us. If you have any further suggestions or advice, we would be grateful to hear them. Our aim is to create a platform that not only meets the needs of creators but also fosters trust and confidence among all stakeholders.

Thank you once again for your thoughtful input :heart_on_fire: :slight_smile:.

It’s great to hear your excitement about our legal groundwork! Actually, our legal advisor happens to be my father, and in fact, this project idea originated from him. He is based in Turkey, and initially, we are focusing on collaborating with local legal experts here. However, our long-term aim is to expand our collaboration and reach beyond borders. Starting from here, we aim to establish a solid foundation and then gradually extend our network to other regions. Thank you for your interest and for raising these important questions. Your support means a lot to us as we work to bring this project to life.

Thanks for taking out the time to reply, this seems like a well-considered method for distributing updates gradually and prioritizing them depending on user demand. But I’m wondering;

Will user testing or validation be carried out prior to the rollout of significant updates to make sure that the suggested modifications meet user expectations and enhance the user experience overall?

Thank you for your interest and thoughtful question. As Timeweave, we will perform tests to ensure that no errors occur before updates are made. We are considering ways to collect data from users on this topic, such as surveys, to check whether the updates meet users’ needs.

I appreciate you giving me an inside look at how you conduct testing and get feedback, your constant answers is testament of how you prioritize community inquiry/feedback.

Could you provide more details about the precise testing procedures you intend to use to guarantee the stability and dependability of upgrades prior to their release?

Okay, Thank you for giving your honest response especially on the inability of your project in identifying and preventing malicious individuals who will want to take the advantage of obtaining registration of a creative works in exploiting unsuspecting investors. This further explain the reason why investors need to carry out a thorough research before putting their money in any project, whether registered or unregistered.

So interesting to know your father is also your legal advisor in this great innovation. The relationship you both shared will help in shaping the future of this project. I will also like to know how long your father has been in the blockchain industry and if he’s aware of the regulatory challenges facing the industry. What his opinions are and how he has positioned the project, with his position as the legal advisor, in ensuring that the project conform with regulatory policies.

Thanks so much for your question. We are still in the process of determining the test procedures, so I cannot say a few specific ones, but we will inform you if they are determined.

You are welcome to this hackathon S6

My question is… How does Timeweave ensure the privacy and security of creator’s design when they register on your project.

And, are there any specific or types of designs that Timeweave is initially targeting, like digital art, entertainment, copywriting, etc?
