Thank you for replying, I’d be keeping a close watch and coming up with more inquiries and questions where necessary cos I’m particularly interested at the same time intrigued by your project, goodluck!
To the best of knowledge though I stand to be corrected I think Timeweave is an outstanding project that addresses critical need for creators in the Web3 space.
Hello;
How is project going when do you plan to update all info?
Very soon .)
Thank you for recognizing the importance of the relationship I share with my father in this project. He brings a wealth of experience to the table as he has been a specialist in intellectual property law for 27 years and also serves as a patent attorney. While he has been involved in blockchain technology for the past three years, he’s well aware of the regulatory challenges facing the industry.
Currently, our project is still in the development stage and started as a hackathon project. While we are eager to bring it to fruition, our focus at the moment is on the technical aspects. My father is primarily involved in ensuring that the project aligns with legal requirements and regulations. We appreciate your interest and support as we work towards making this project a reality.
Thank you very much for your kind words and for recognizing the potential of Timeweave. We are truly grateful for your support and encouragement. Your acknowledgment means a lot to us as we continue to strive towards meeting the needs of creators in the Web3 space. If you have any further thoughts or feedback, we’d love to hear them. Thanks again for your encouragement!
Thank you for providing your father’s experience in legal and blockchain spaces. With 27 years of practice in intellectual property law and 3 years of blockchain experience, it’s believed that he’s well exposed to the challenges facing the creative and blockchain industries and will use his experiences in addressing this. I’m glad to see your project come to life
Exciting Update from the Timeweave Team!
Dear Timeweave Community,
We’re thrilled to share a recent development with you! Over the past two weeks, we’ve been hard at work bridging the gap between our frontend and backend systems. Some outdated documentation caused a bit of a hiccup, but we’ve since resolved the issue and successfully conducted our tests. While we encountered some errors along the way, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve overcome these hurdles and are now back on track to accelerate our development efforts at full throttle!
Hey team
I just want to know how much time I will have to wait for your response to this
We apologize for replying to your question late. The main purpose of Timeweave is that the registrations you receive on our site can be used in lawsuits. We are making improvements for security, but thanks to blockchain technology, we do not expect to experience security problems. The main design types we target are copywriting and digital art.
Hello hello dear tron dao community how are you
Welcome to Tron hackathon season 6.
How does Timeweave address the challenge of accessibility to copyright protection for creators worldwide?
The goal of the Timeweave project is to safeguard data of unregistered products, rather than copyright rights per se. We aim to do this because in many countries(except USA), there’s a three-year protection law for unregistered products, but proving ownership is crucial for this law to hold in court during disputes.
That sounds really interesting, Emirhan! I have a couple of questions about your project Timeweave. How does the registration and verification process work on the platform? And how do you ensure the security and integrity of the blockchain system? Can’t wait to learn more about it!
Hello Timeweave team, your project is indeed interesting! I have some questions, suggestions, requests but first of al I like your spirit and it’s inspiring to see young students like you already working on crypto and joining hackathons!
- Have you approached local patent authorities or even your own universtity for collaboration or guidance purposes? Even tough registering unregistered product designs on-chain could help you in a legal battle I think legally, a patented design (under local or global authorities) have more leverage regardless, unfortunately there are seldom countries having blockchain as a legal way to stablish contracts
. Maybe I’m wrong here, looking forward to your answer.
- How are you securing the sensitive data from your users? What kind of encryption do you plan on using for the designs? BTFS has a newly developed feature to upload encrypted files. You can encrypt, decrypt using your wallet
. BTFS Gateway tutorial here
- Are product designs gonna be retrievable only for owners?
- Are product design gonna be indexable by default? or private?
- Please add dates in your milestones phases and sub activities so judges and admins have a better idea on progress, failing to do so might affect your final score as it is not clear what to evaluate.
- Registration and Verification Process: On Timeweave, the registration process is designed to be user-friendly yet secure. Users start by creating an account with basic information such as email and password. Upon registration, they are required to verify their email address to activate their account. Additionally, we employ additional layers of verification, such as two-factor authentication, to enhance security and ensure the integrity of user accounts.
- Security and Integrity of the Blockchain System: Timeweave leverages blockchain technology to ensure the security and integrity of its platform. We implement robust cryptographic techniques to secure user data and transactions. The blockchain itself acts as a decentralized ledger, providing transparency and immutability to the data stored on the platform. Additionally, we regularly audit our smart contracts and collaborate with security experts to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
If you have any further questions or would like more details on any aspect of Timeweave, feel free to ask!
Hello there!
Thanks for your insightful questions and suggestions! We truly appreciate your interest and engagement with our project, TimeWeave.
Regarding your first question about approaching local patent authorities or our university for collaboration or guidance, it’s a great point! We’ve actually been in touch with legal advisors, including our attorney who has been instrumental in shaping our project. We’re aware that while blockchain may not be recognized as a legal means of establishing contracts in all jurisdictions, we’re leveraging a specific legal framework called the 3-year protection law, which unfortunately isn’t available in the US but plays a crucial role in protecting unregistered designs. Our focus is indeed on resolving disputes among unregistered products rather than traditional patented ones, making this legal framework essential for our project’s success.
As for securing sensitive user data and encrypting designs, we’re exploring various encryption methods, including the option you mentioned with BTFS. Ensuring user privacy and data security is paramount to us, and we’re committed to implementing robust measures to achieve this.
Regarding the retrievability and indexing of product designs, our aim is to strike a balance between accessibility and privacy. Designs will be retrievable by owners while also ensuring that privacy concerns are addressed. We’re still refining the specifics of this aspect of the platform, but rest assured, user control and privacy will be central to our design philosophy.
Lastly, your suggestion about adding dates to our milestones and phases is duly noted! Providing clear timelines is crucial for transparency and evaluation purposes, and we’ll ensure to incorporate this feedback into our project planning moving forward.
Once again, thank you for your thoughtful questions and suggestions. We’re excited to continue developing TimeWeave and appreciate your support along the way! If you have any further inquiries or feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Dear Tron dao forum there are big news check this out
Thank you for answering. How do you ensure the longevity of your project after the hackathon and ensure its usage in the community?
Thank you very much for your question. To ensure that TimeWeave is a long-lasting project and can be easily used by the community, we use methods that facilitate the user experience, such as account abstraction. In this way, users can perform all transactions with a single click. We also tried to take precautions against bots on our site using Dynamic. Of course, we will make updates in the future based on comments from the community.
