Iâm not a participant but as a simple observer when I see a competitor commenting on 30-40 projects âamazing idea! I love what you doâ in less than one hour of time and one hour of total reading I already find it shady and boring. How could they read 30-40 presentations, have a look at the website and comment in less than 2minutes/project.
That kind of thing (trying to seduce projects from other categories) shouldnât even be mentioned in the rules.
A fair competitor post his presentation, answer questions and if he want to read about other projects and compliment them itâs fine. But more than that becomes borderline imo.
Not talking about you here since I donât know what youâve done. Just answering about the âseduction strategyâ.

Itâs not a seduction strategy. Iâve been in a lot of competitions globally and itâs normal to ask others to review your projects on forums and expect their support if they like it. But using these votes in exchange for money or with expressions like âI voted for you, vote for me nowâ is definitely a problem as you say.
But if the rules of tron require it, which is what it does. It seems most logical not to message anyone about the project and I think everyone on the forum will pay attention to this.

Yeah as Iâve said my comment doesnât target you since I donât know what happened.
Just saw some people really borderline or crossing the borders this season and the past 2 seasons. But itâs getting better. At least this season I havenât seen people publicly purchasing votes.

The rules should be clean and transparent! We did not broke them, we were disqualified. If you see that you want to disqualify the project, contact the creators and point out their shortcomings, how it can be corrected. Just disqualify an entire project, which was worked on for a month is rude!

This can be achieved by spending time in the forum, checking out projects/submissions, giving your own two piece and helping others

Dear @admin.hackathon , what is this behavior ?
We have put blood in making a product and followed every single guideline in submission
but now , just because the devpost did not test our product via the guidelines we have provided .
Itâs their negligence not ours.
Itâs their non-technicality not ours.
Why we are facing the consequences ?.
Is it the platform you have assured to be fair for everyone ?
If they can not read the projects and test them then why they let so many people submit at first place ?
We are dishearted âŠ
We are dishearted by the TRON community .
We were very excited to be the part of it and we went insane on making our product across TRON but No , you people might not have time for it .
Season 4 ?
Why we will participate again if we have this experience where efforts become fruitless!
This is not something we have expected from TRON !
We need our proper judging of the Project !

What new rules are you talking about?
We and many other teams followed literally all rules (details here) and were disqualified without any reasonable explanation. Such statements like yours only distract the community from the main problem - the organisers have dropped many teams from voting without any meaningful comments (referring to rules that participants have not broken is not an answer)
