Guys, I hope it has been a pleasant process for everyone, and we hope we will get the reward of our efforts and time. It doesnā€™t have to be just a reward, what we learned along the way, expanding our vision and having new perspectives were also great experiences. Many thanks to everyone who supported & did not support our projects during this process. Now itā€™s time for everyone to take a breakā€¦

Sad :disappointed: but also funny

I see alot of sarcasm at play here. I love sarcasm :rofl:

Sad that they donā€™t understand the decision has been taken by those who are hosting the competition (Devpost) and not by those who are handling the forum (Trondao admins).

Thank you so much for your kind words and appreciation! Iā€™m sure the Trondao team will be thrilled to hear that you had such a great time participating in the hackathon, even though you had to break a leg to finish. Keep up the excellent work of not breaking any rules and ignoring all requests for help; it really sets a great example for the rest of the community!

( Note : This is a sarcasm )

How poetic.

Sometimes you have to accept defeat and not break the bridges.

I hope you will come back stronger on the next season.

@admin.hackathon I have a suggestion/idea for next Hackathon:

How about having a forum community votable ā€œ#TronStrong prizeā€ for each track where the requirement to be considered for these joint awards is that past hackathon winners and any other hackathon participants collaborate to integrate their products.

Then have a new rule where past winners cannot enter their project again to win on forum by ā€œestablished community votesā€ like how it is currently (every one sees how this is skews perception on the forum)ā€¦ If these past winners want a chance at winning again, it should only be done for the #TronStrong Prize so that working with other participants that are new or didnt win in the past becomes a new norm going forward. The prize is shared between those that collaborated together e.g. 5k per team that collabā€™d.

I think something like this could be very beneficial to the ecosystem.

This encourages past winning projects to reach out to past/existing submissions to work together to win something extra with them. While giving new commers a chance to win within their Track plus via #TronStrong prizes across the tracks.

Bringing fairness through actual collaboration.

I was expecting this kind of proposal sooner or later, to exclude the previous winners from the competition. I think we need to be more open minded and look at facts from a wider angle. Letā€™s consider for a moment the current voting results as final (wonā€™t be probably).

Web3 track:

  • Tronhub (the team was awarded in past edition)
  • dCloud (the team was awarded in past edition)
  • Oracula (new)
  • Web3-schedule (new)
  • TsTron (new)

DeFi track:

  • T-Boost (the team was awarded in past edition)
  • Synergy (new)
  • Inheritokens (new)
  • TronZ bank (new)
  • Unlimited Oracle (new)

GameFi track:

  • Turuverese (the team was awarded in past edition)
  • Trxmini (new)
  • Zombieland (new)
  • Mushroom (new)
  • Zombax (new)

NFT track:

  • Fuzzy ocean (new)
  • PalmT (the team was awarded in past edition)
  • Fraction (new)
  • Lazara (new)
  • TBlocks (new)

Academy track

  • all new

Ecosystem track

  • all new

So, out of all winners, only 4 actually have been awarded in previous editions (if I made mistakes, please correct me). This means that the competition is open to newcomers. Limiting the established teams to the role of developing partners is wrong in my opinion. If the established projects win is because they keep delivering.

One example: TURU. Have you seen what they are doing with the Turuverse? Should we kepp them out of the next hackathon? I donā€™t think so. I want to see more good stuff from them and I think the DAO should support them to do more.
